About this deal

Despite the number of ingredients listed above, it is not that complex - which is the virtue for this scent, simplicity is elegance. The bergamot note in the top is probably the best bergamot note I've yet to smell in any fragrance - bergamot is perhaps the most commonly used note in all of perfumery, and more often than not gets lost in composition. Bvlgari Pour Homme opens with a sharp musky, aromatic and woody accord with tea and some bright citrus.

BPH straddles the divide between the two fragrances that drew me into perfumes in the first place; L'eau D'Issey was my first love and my signature for five years, while Bvlgari Aqva was the scent that sent me delving deeper into perfumery. I have come to regard him as my favorite craftsman above the likes of kings such as Morillas, Ellena, the Polges, Jean Jacques, Cresp, Wasser and many more on this level. I would leave this one for the office crowd and choose something with more personality, although worth a try if you see it going cheap.

Its a safe fragrance and suitable for almost all seasons but unfortunately it has been discontinued! Here, they combine with the tea, lavender and bergamot so exquisitely, I dare say it is the one of the best openings to any perfume in the world. Note: The pros and cons listed on this page have been generated using the artificial intelligence system, which analyzes product reviews submitted by our members. It was an obviously well-made woody floral musk fragrance: clean and fresh without the tsunami of calone most newer men's scents of that era contained. I do get the soapy vibe others have mentioned (which is not a bad thing) but it's a warm soapy vibe.

This is undoubtedly the most beautiful collection of masculine fragrances by Bvlgari, and each one is a play on tea. Quiet yet bold enough to make a statement, Bvlgari Pour Homme is a nicely balanced blend of light citrus, musky florals and aromatic herbs. For me, there is always a reason to wear something particular from Cavallier that's always just right for the occasion, and there is an air of class to his work. It's a mature scent - not that it smells old but rather it is not a loud 'look at me, I am wearing perfume' type of scent. In my opinion it smells like the perfumer wanted to create a bar of soap made with YSL L’Homme’s top, with the semi-fresh spicy ginger, and surrounded by the base of a "lemonless" Chanel Allure Edition Blanche or even Frapin’s L’Humaniste with a creamy but dry/a bit sharp sandalwood/vanilla combo with a slightly wet, green aura added to it. Well, if the zing of ginger is something that you find refreshing then say no more Bvlgari BLV has you covered! Everyone needs a nice pressed neutral button-down shirt, that you can use with any outfit or situation. Therefore, Bvlgari Pour Homme is just too delicate and too reserve, as the notes are all 'polite' and just 'too shy' to be in the crowd. I have heard that the original formulation had much better tea notes and more performance, but I have a 2020 bottle, so that is what I am reviewing.
