At the end of the day I like and accurate citrus also love lavender and I like the subtle pinch of pepper, just works. Several perfume masters tried to capture the smell of everything that exists among which the creators of this sublime colossus of the aforementioned Maison. A fragrance to give or treat yourself, as a symbol of time that passes without changing what really matters. Despite writing a horrible review slamming it, my Savoy Steam did not last long and I'm on bottle two.Unfortunately I can't smell any lavender and the lemongrass note is dominant, but it's still nice, aromatic and refreshing. I was trying to swim and crawl, I reached the surface of the sea water finally by somehow, but the air I could breathe was filled by grey smoke regrettably. Very interesting unisex combo of citron, cardamon (not listed but smells very distinct on me), lemongrass, black pepper and evergreen. In that sense, Penhaligon's deserve some respect for keeping one of the company's earliest perfumes going in spite of its scent profile. It means more on the masculine side and I’d say is the perfect started fragrance for those who want to start building up their wardrobe.
