If you like the projection and longevity of Sauvage, I'm afraid there is no way to get that on a budget and you have to get the real deal.It is a very lusty, sultry, breathy, seductive and enchanting fragrance that smells expensive, chords of suede leather - light spice - fruits and a ton of whiskey. Top notes are Grapefruit, Lemon and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Lavender, Geranium, Vetiver and Patchouli; base notes are Cedar, Amber and Precious Woods. I sprayed it on my wrist at around 4pm and I can still smell it the next day at 8 am, albeit a skin scent.

Knowing that it’s a clear dupe of Aventus, I notice similarities in how Ventana and L’Aventure both open, and dry down.

I purchased this fragrance around a week ago, and while initially on the fence about it, I eventually fell in love with this. I'm not sure which I like more, but, at this point, I'd say the Ventana because it seems slightly less sweet (though neither is particularly sweet). Although Ventana Pour Homme does share some similarities with Dior Sauvage--and is also in that same bright-citrus and ambroxan scent genre, it's quite a bit different for me to classify this one as being a clone. I won't lie to you and make it sound like the greatest thing on earth to justify my purchase, which happens on this forum quite a bit.

Ventana does not project or last as long as Sauvage (likely because of the aforementioned lack of pepper note), but you can still get 6+ hrs longevity with ventana easily. Base notes give an overall balsamic effect as notes of precious wood blend with warm and powdery amber, as well as somber and austere cedar. Come on, Armaf, you have a highly sophisticated clone of Dior Sauvage and yet you wrap it in the daftest bottle design I have ever seen.
