About this deal
The Angelcare AC327 Baby Movement Monitor was released in 2019 and comes with a wireless SensAsure Movement Sensor Pad that can be placed under your baby’s mattress to detect their every movement. I had one with my first and it went off twice, first time was because he was too small for it to register his breathing under his mattress so I placed it under a folded up blanket, and the second time was when he was much older and had rolled to the very bottom of the cot. If the setting is too high the Sensor Pad can continue to detect movement near to the cot such as walking on floorboards, central heating, even something as light as a desktop fan. What's even better, the low-profile camera can be either wall mounted or used on a table top with stand included. Janine agrees, adding: "Rather than give us peace of mind, this piece of technology made us more anxious.
The nursery unit will produce a 'rouse alarm' single beep tone designed to stir your baby if no movement has been detected for 15-seconds. Now you’ve tested the Angelcare AC327 Baby Movement Monitor, what would you have wanted to know before purchasing? The design is stylish, portable and the signal range is great – it alerted us that our bedroom was too warm from outside in the garden.
we have the tommee tippee ultinmate and the monitor is excellent can hear her breathing it that good!i think if no movement is detected after 15secs then there is a loud beep and if there is still nothing by 20secs then the alarm goes off and its really loud and would definately wake you up. According to the angelcare ac1300 we have bought there needs to be a 30cm gap between the two beds so that the sensor doesn't pick up your movements.
It’s easy to position if you have the right surface heights or plan to attach the nursery unit camera to a wall. Powerful movement detection technology, Angelcare's smaller sensasure movement sensor pad monitors all your baby's slightest wriggles across the entire surface of the mattress without baby even knowing it's there. We have it and the sensor part if great but it's voice activated so won't pick up babbling/settling sounds. Containing SensAsure™ Technology, the ACAM2 has our 40% smaller Wireless Movement Sensor Pad that monitors baby's tiniest movements. We only started getting false alarms after he moved into his big cot and started wriggling off the sensor pad - but by that time he was over 6 months, so I felt ok disconnecting the pad. I think this monitor is great for people who want something straightforward, no-nonsense and reliable, with fantastic picture quality. The Angelcare 3-in-1 sensasure baby movement monitor with camera video not only looks the part but can be trusted, day and night.
