About this deal

And if you like to stay put in your listening couch or chair, I'm sure this remote made exclusively for the Exos-9 would come in handy https://aiwa. A topic that we need to discuss is the sound signature of the Aiwa Exos 9 because if you’re looking for balanced, accurate audio – this isn’t going to be your best bet, and for that, I’d recommend looking at some home smart speakers, or bookshelf speakers for instance. We wonder if this is because the Exos 9 is not necessarily made as an outdoor speaker, and it is assumed that one has more frequent access to power to recharge.

PROTECT YOUR PRECIOUS CARGO - IPX4 splash-resistant, dustproof and shockproof - keep your Exos-9 safe while you’re on the move.Compared, EXOS 9 doesn’t look near half as good, with S1000DB having much better overall aesthetics, but EXOS 9 doesn’t have any build and quality issues, where S1000DB whistles from the bass port, and the company still refuses to fix the broken speakers, although they are within warranty, making Edifier one of unreliable companies out there. In terms of sonic quality and performance, you won’t feel a big difference between AUX and Bluetooth, and you will be able to enjoy the speaker regardless of whether you’re using the bluetooth or the Aux input. The LCD display poses an immediate risk for damage when in the outdoors, and the lack of weatherproofing is a big drawback. It is very loud but does not distort at max volume, bass you can really feel in your stomach, detailed mids and crisp highs for any genre of music. Unfortunately, the buttons are all you've got - there is no smartphone app to control the speaker, which makes it feel positively ancient in an age where our wireless headphones receive regular firmware updates over Bluetooth.

However, before the Arc-1, Aiwa made a wireless speaker that helped raise them from the ashes of forgotten electronic companies. There is enough bass texture to go by, without feeling like the bass is too fast, and in fact, it has a natural overall decay, without too much hassle. This being said, EXOS 9 has a battery and can be used far from an electric outlet, while Music Cast 20 is a little speaker that is meant to be used only near electric outlets, and it cannot be used portably. Sure, none of these will get as loud as the Exos-9, but you’ll have to really prioritize volume above all else with this speaker. Select reviewers may receive discounted products, promotional considerations or entries into drawings for honest, helpful reviews.

We listened to more songs than those named in this playlist, but those are excellent for identifying a sonic signature. The site and services are provided "as is" with no warranty or representations by JustAnswer regarding the qualifications of Experts. It has a simple and clean design that will fit in just about anywhere and the build quality is excellent (very solid sturdy unit) I went around the speaker with a fine tooth comb, not a mark on it not even a finger print! This ain’t one of those small-ish portable Bluetooth speakers, this is something that will keep your party going if you install it in a large hall. There is also an EQ built in the speaker, and I managed to get a tuning that I consider sounded best with it, regardless of the location you’re listening to it from. At the end of the day the 2015 Exos-9 Portable Bluetooth Speaker by Aiwa may have begun to show its age but there’s no doubt that it’s still an impressive product worth our Golden Award. And for the same money, you can get the excellent sounding Marshall Kilburn, which gives you a sense of nostalgia with its physical knobs, switches and buttons. Granted we didn’t have the chance to check those out and it’s a safe bet that some of you would like to see them included in the package (regardless of extra cost) but the fact of the matter is that we don’t see something similar by other manufacturers.

Am I going to agree or disagree with the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the Aiwa Exos-9 speaker? AIWA EXOS 9 is in a class of its own, being a bluetooth speaker, but not a very portable one, thanks to its weight, which is almost funny high, of about 7 KG, but it has a lot going on for it, including APT-X, a battery of about 15600 mAh, and even built-in EQ. The front of the Exos-9 has two slots at the bottom that look like more bass ports but are decorative only. For those not familiar, mid-side processing takes a stereo recording and separates sounds coming from the left and right from sounds coming from the middle. Not only this, but despite the way it is marketed, EXOS 9 is actually not so much of a portable speaker, but more of a living room speaker that you sometimes take with you, although if you’ll have a party somewhere and you’ll need a large speaker to make the entire building move, EXOS 9 will not shy away from doing an impression there.
