About this deal

Come join the discussion about performance, modifications, wiring, classifieds, troubleshooting, maintenance, reviews, and more! Upon opening the box, it was quite evident that some of the parts and hardware were clearly sub standard. All of the Flying Horse engines feature the latest updates, including high quality needle bearings and Japanese ball bearings.

is not responsible for include among other things: falling, collisions with pedestrians, street, highway or roadway vehicles, striking obstructions or other person, unsafe weather conditions including temperature exposure, hypothermia, sunstroke, sunburn, heat exhaustion and dehydration. If you play around on the calculator with the weight of the vehicle you will notice that it has no effect on the power that is required on flat ground to propel a vehicle at any speed. One would have a very difficult time keeping the crank from hitting the ground with a frame that large and wheels that small. A lot of our riders have told us that they're worried about making a purchase before our biggest sale of the year. I noticed a while back that most of the engines labeled 48cc were actually 72s but in the last few months I also found a lot of engines labeled 49cc to be 72s also.Sorry hellboy i wasn't trying to poke fun at you sometimes i just can't help to be a smart A** I wasn't trying to insult you at all, i know how impatient you can be waiting for a new bike I'm on my 3rd bike and everytime i get a new one i try to find out as much info in advance as i can don't take it to heart i was just messin with ya a little, it will be very obvious when you get the bike like i said it's on the left side down low on the block and mine actually had a long white sticker on the top of the motor on the transmission case that had a real long number on it but the serial number was the very first part of the number on the sticker so check both places and let us know what it says also look at the number cast on the head. The Voltage of the motor has nothing to do with how powerful it is, only the Watts rating determines its power.

If you sit the piston on a flat surface and measure to the top of the wrist pin hole then that will tell if you have a high or low hole piston. However frame geometry can still be very different depending on model and manufacturur for the same size seat post tube. of the sellers have no idea what they are talking about and put too much jibberish out there that people listen to. it's a bigger fist punching, but there's a lot to be said abt a lighter piston and how high it can rev all else being equal. or 55 tooth wheel sprockets may work as far as gear ratios go if the bike will be used on flat ground only, it is a little risky using that high of a gear ratio though because it could overheat the motor.

look at the very first post in this thread pay special close attention to the sentance "the serial number is cast on the block mine is under the transmission" maybe there you will find your answer. Startup is a breeze and you can stop the engine with a simple killswitch provided with the throttle assembly. Since the pocket bike looks fairly small a 36 Volt system might be best way to go so there are only three batteries on the bike, as opposed to four batteries for a 48 Volt system or 5 batteries for a 60 Volt system. My goal is to try to be in the 25-30 mph range (I'm very light), and I'm not sure which voltage of motor to use, and what amp hour battery would be sufficient. Now I know I can just replace the 38mm cylinder and bore easily, however, I was wondering if this would be a good time to try to upgrade to a 44mm big bore kit.this 49CC kit was a BIG SURPRISE how easy and how much power it has, I weigh 215lbs and it zips along around 22 mph (40 tooth sprocket). Here's a frame proportions calculator that can let you know the general area you need in a bicycle frame size for your particular body build. I'm not too concerned about acceleration, but what's good for a higher top speed but still reasonable acceleration? I bought two engine kits, good thing, I wound up using parts from the second kit to finish my first bike. stroke engines have a single stroke of electricity, while 4-stroke have a single stroke of electricity.

the problem is that a lot of the engines stamped 48 and 49cc are actually 72cc, when you remove the head you can measure the bore size and you will notice that almost every engine stamped 48cc that I have come across is actually 72cc.I attached a few files, one being how the sprocket is attached, the other is the frame I have salvaged, and I also attached a file of what may be the original bike. the cc size of the engine is a function of the bore (diameter of the piston) and stroke (length of travel of the piston) together as you can see above some models have the same piston dia.
