I hoped that reading Michael's book would give me more of an insight into the real person and the way he thinks and feels about things that happened in his life. He talks about the happy prankster days of his youth, traveling with his brothers, and of his sometimes difficult relationships with his family over the years. Reaching number two in its first week on The New York Times Best Seller list, Moonwalk reached number one the following week. Certification number is present and in addition the photo has been marked with a tamper evident serial numbered label that identifies the item with a matching number.

His successful career and controversial, enigmatic personal life have been a part of pop culture for almost four decades. The rock superstar offers a candid, inside look at his phenomenal career, private and family life, dreams and goals, friendships, personal relationships, and the painful isolation of fame. Later in the afterword it is explained that Michael met with Shaye for many conversations that were recorded, transcribed and then revised once Michael reviewed the material.

Nevertheless, it is an honest, sometimes soul-baring memoir, far more than a recitation of achievements. And it was amazing to read that, because everything he ever said has had such an impact on me and the words in this book are no different. However, Jackson's controversial appearance and actions have damaged his reputation in the eyes of some of the public and album sales have been in decline since the mid 1990s.

The amazing thing is that I felt as though he was still alive reading this book, I could imagine him actually saying it out loud.Hermoso libro en el que puedes entender tantas cosas sobre Michael jackson una persona excepcional gran artista! This is all the more true for the King of Pop, the seventh of nine children, who became the singer and leader of a family band at an early age. The book has turned up with muck on it, I have taken multiple pictures (the grime isn’t just on the pages shown) but it’s a little bit gross as I’m not even sure what the muck on it is, it is clearly not a printing mistake. When the book was ready to be published, he decided not to do it, but finally relented and allowed publication.

This book was well written though it was very short and somewhat closed off like Michael always seemed to be with a lot of his personal life. His other achievements feature multiple Guinness World Records - including the 'Most Successful Entertainer of All Time' - 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles, and estimated sales of over 750 million records.Almost everything else is tainted by the perspective of someone who is writing ABOUT MJ, not MJ's actual thoughts, feelings, perspectives, and processes.
