About this deal
I can’t imagine a better choice for office wear and it’s sure to garner compliments, I feel it’s a real crowd pleaser and 100% signature worthy. It's a nice fresh citrus, and I was testing it out with the idea of potentially getting it for my boyfriend, but now I think I might get it for myself.
I love this scent along with Artisan Pure, but Artisan Pure lasts a whole 30 seconds for me and this actually lasts like its a real cologne. The John Varvatos Artisan Fragrance embodies the lost art of craftsmanship, while at the same time exuding a modern edge. To my nose I get a beautiful ginger nuance and a unique sour orange scent with some musk in background. Ginger and some woody aromachemicals move into a base of ambrox and clean musks, something pretty new in 2009 for sure.I add it to the diffuser along with Demeter Black Ginger for that extra punch of clean spice, and always receive compliments from passengers. John Varvatos Artisan, embodies the lost art of craftsmanship, while at the same time exuding a modern edge. it does not last long even though i lived in tropical climate, and this is supposed to be a summer scents it supposed to smell loud at hot temperature but alas it simply not.
It honestly doesn’t smell synthetic at all to me, in fact it’s among the most natural and well blended I’ve ever smelled, as far as designers go it’s THE most natural, I compare it with Creed and Tom Ford as far as quality and how well it’s blended. The only highlight is the woven rattan bottle design, very nice to hold and piece of art, too bad, not the juice, too simple, too plain and yet too common.Majoram round this up, and a bit of dry medicinal lavandin brings the masculine clean into the heart. but this fragrance is interesting and the opening is very nice so just for that I give JV Artisan a thumbs up.
