Seeing as the toy is 17 years old, I didn’t have high hopes that the tub of slime would still be usable. Fortunately this year I managed to snag both SDCC exclusives that contained extras, but this has been the only year I could do so. The figure was released in a beautifully designed convention excluisve box which included the railing, the hookah pipe and a never-before-made Salacious B.

This has caused more than a few jaded collector types to snicker, as it vaguely resembles some type of drug smoking device. Just like the vintage 1983 version of Jabba, this figure uses clear see-through plastic for the eyes and a hard-plastic shell for the body.With exquisite features and decoration, this series embodies the quality and realism that Star Wars devotees love. These 6-inch action figures reinvigorated the action figure collectibles market and is now the gold standard for modern posable, high quality action figures for the masses. If you turn his head forward the paint application on the head matches the lower body, however when you turn the head sideways the paint application looks off.

There were no second chances with Jabba, something Han Solo would find out - though the slug-like alien would ultimately fall victim to his own hubris and vengeful ways.Compared with the other Jabba The Hutt figures made for the 3 3/4 inch scale, which have their tails to the side, this version stands the tallest. Jabba is facing forward, with the tail pointed to the back, and it is not possible to move the tail sideways.
