With the Insurrection II series and some niche-quality fragrances like "Acqua di Parisis", they have grown an above-average number of designer clones. I do get a slight whiff of liquorice on the initial spray but quickly settles into beautiful gourmand scent.

People who say this is an exact (or very decent/close) clone of ''Pure Havane'' or Xerjoff Naxos should reconsider their sense of smell. I believe it can be worn any season and appropriate for most situations, other than special occasions or a first date. The toppings smell wonderful, both in raw form and when smoked, but there is very little actual tobacco smell in either form.For me this is not a fragrance you wear on the side, no this is a fragrance for cooler summer evenings by the campfire, a walk by the lake at sunset or a fine dinner with your partner.

There is a moment in the drydown when it really resembles PH for an hour or so but if I hadn´t seen the votes I would never guess there is more than very slight similarity. The big issue is I don’t have any place to wear this and much like all these type scents with heavy leather and tobacco they are not versatile and I always leave them on shelf when picking my fragrance for the day. Longevity is moderate for an EdP: 3-4 hours until it dries down to a skin scent, then another hour or two until it dissipates. Naxos nerds should pursue a proper clone house rather than comparing a bargain-bin cheapie to a niche designer fragrance that is 12x the cost, as if that's a good argument for why Insurrection II is bad.A strong but subdued opening of smoky tobacco and honey, with undertones of leather and cocoa on first spray.
