About this deal

I sort of regret not just shelling out for the real deal right away, but since I've already got this and for the most part really enjoy it I haven't prioritized getting the Guerlain. There is a stronger hint of lavender even though it's not listed in the notes and but more almost spicy / citrusu but in the most best way possible still smelling like guerlain! It starts off spicy (after the first burst of alcohol) probably due to the sage, then the flowers come out to play, then the sweet creamy vanilla enters and something that smells like a deep delicious, sweet, juicy, fruit, even though there are no fruit notes listed. When I smell this perfume from the bottle it smells interesting not necessarily in a bad or good way i smell the vanilla and the peony but it's like a dark vanilla but doesn't smell verry sweet .

I have just used up my bottle of MG and wanted a cheaper dupe, and the reviews for this one sold me. This is Mon Guerlain's trashy, jealous aunt who smokes two packs a day and douses herself in cheap body spray, which is ultimately useless because she still smells like an ashtray.Since this smells very similar to Mon Guerlain, you can assume it smells very expensive even if it’s actually 20 dollars! I know this sounds extreme, but you ever try a perfume so headache inducing that even reading the notes makes your head hurt? I think some are perceiving cigarettes because it has a frankincense type quality in the drydown (perhaps a combination of leather, vetiver, and sage), though the vanillic element is a bit stronger. It's like his cologne mingled with my perfume, but it's only the Guess seductive noir I'd applied a couple hours before bed. But this is a good temporary option for those who want or love MG but may not be able to splurge on it at the moment, I suppose.

I will say, you have to like Iris, i find this a bit more lavender than Iris, but I definitely don't smell Iris as much as i smell lavender on a day to day basis - but if i did pin point I would definitely say this is a lot more lavendery than the iris note put in, i personally do not get any iris. I spray one behind each ear and once on the inside of my elbows; with this application, I can smell it all day. This will be included within your account minimum payment request every month and cannot be repaid using Take 3. after a bit of time, it turns to a soft vanilla-floral cloud with a hint of vetiver, and it no longer smells like LL at that point.I get an almost bitter vanilla extract smell that I like after the first hour or so, but at that point its a skin scent on me that vanishes soon after.

The sage note is very prominent to my nose and it almost gives the scent a ‘cooling’ sort of feeling whereas Mon Guerlain has a certain warmth about it. That being said I truly believe that this fragrance needs to be judged on it's own rights and not to be compared to Mon Guerlain to make it true justice. At least an 80% match in the shared vanilla/vetiver/suede (or velvet) basenotes, with aromatics, jasmine, and bergamot floating in and out. In the opening it smells insanely similar to Mon Guerlain to me, but in the dry down it starts smelling more and more different.Wondering if it might fit for a film noir type of vibe I could relate to; it kind of is, in an updated, retro, less complicated way, not really very dark, deep or mysterious, and the most recent, youngest scent I own. The safe lifts it and keeps it from being too soft and floral/vanillic, while the vetiver grounds and darkens it. Bergamot, sage and peony form the opening top notes that merge into a hearty mix of iris, jasmine and lily of the valley. Applied in the evening, and later this morning I get a memory of snuggling with a man who was never with me. Update: the dry down is beautiful, mostly vanilla and vetiver…not sure what “velvet” smells like, but the dry down definitely has that texture. In addition, as we give you the option to choose what best suits your needs from several sellers, you have the power to decide so you can make your purchase as you wish. Personally I hate vanilla, so I was surprised to find that in Seductive Noir, it was the balancing note the rest have missed. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy or reliability of the AI-generated pros and cons. If it lasted even an hour or two I would recommend it as a unique cheapie, but I can't with this abysmal performance. Your item must be re-packaged securely and sent to us within 30 days of the date you notified us of your intention to cancel. The fruits also star at the beginning of this scent only, however don't notice as much as the deep floral, personally.
