About this deal

I will revisit them halfway through the year to see how I’m getting on with them and if there’s any I need to prioritise. The wooden platform was slick beneath her shoes, gleaming with rain puddles and piles of decaying leaves. The story is filled with evil monsters and magical creatures- and the love story between Shannon and the two men in her life will melt your heart when she must make a choice and decide where he heart belongs. All-in-all, if you like intense books and you enjoy "faith-fiction" you may enjoy this book, just be forwarned about the liberties the author takes.

She hopes one day to use her platform as an author to engage young people with history, which she believes, is crucial to building a better, brighter future.I recently counted all of my unread books and noticed I had a lot of unfinished series despite them being completed.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. As fearsome, powerful and beloved as their male counterparts, it’s time to look beyond the columns of a ruined temple to the awesome power within . As Jane is preparing to defend a high-profile client accused of a triple homicide, she’s also hired to revive a cold case – a cluster of unsolved murders. She’s also said to have been promiscuous with boys while in juvenile detention, but I’m not sure how that would happen on any kind of regular basis given that I’m pretty sure juvie is segregated by gender just like adult prisons. Her writing style is simple, but clear, and she is a master at letting you feel the tension of what is happening without resorting to being graphic.

To sum this up quickly so i can get back to reading- this is hands down worth it, and an incredible read. And that’s saying a lot because I’ve read a number of books with similarly tortured characters that never left me feeling like this one did. I will read another of Karen Kingsbury's novels, because it was a captivating story and well written. The mythology side of the story could have been a little stronger for me and the brutality of the games could have been heightened some more, but I think Woodman has created a fantastic stepping stone for the rest of the series.
