The Nike Structure 22s are perfectly fine for shorter runs or trainers, but for me they are just too heavy and stiff to be a race day shoe.

Unfortunately with the arrival of my new 22 they are much narrower and therefore very uncomfortable from around 3k with my toes beginning to go numb from 4.

I would give the shoe a 2 star rating only because is resembles a shoe and they are good for a casual walk. Zoom Air's advantage is that, as well as providing excellent impact protection, it boasts a super lightweight and low-profile design which lets your feet sit closer to the ground, enhancing proprioception so that you can run more efficiently. Desperately needed to replace my old trainers to keep up my running routine and scuppered by lockdown. The sole unit was too firm, unresponsive and it took a couple of miles on every run to feel comfortable running in them. It is advisable to pop to your local running specialist and try on a few different brands, on the treadmill if possible, to get a feel for the shoes.

Its too bad that Nike has lost their way and are more interested in political statements and creating the “flavor of the day” rather than serving the base that’s been loyal to them for several decades.
