About this deal

Allow to penetrate for 15 to 30 minutes, then apply the second coat without waiting for the first to dry. It is essential that any oil that has not been absorbed into the timber is wiped off thoroughly with a clean lint-free cloth.

Note: Liberon Decking Oil is not suitable for some oily, dense grained hardwoods, such as Iroko, Balau, Ipe and Sapele. If the timber is treated straight away the grain has not had time to open and therefore will not absorb oils or sealers and will just sit on the surface and go sticky. Our decking is now at least 12 years old, having initially tried two or three different brands of decking oil, without doubt, Liberon is the best by far for the job.As an example, softwood decking that is old will likely require more oil than a relatively new hardwood decking that still retains a fair amount of natural oil.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. This is to remove any loose leaves, dirt and other organic matter that can settle on the deck and in the grooves, which can degrade or damage the finish and decking timbers over time.
