Another small criticism I had is that there was more on cricket in this book than in the previous book and I am not a big fan. Freddie takes you on a whirlwind tour of his brain as he ponders more of life’s most unfathomable question. Freddie” Flintoff has always been a larger than life character, achieving notoriety for some of his off-field antics.

He has written for newspapers, fronted his own radio show and had a hugely successful podcast, Flintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong Guy .Flintoff's wit and charisma, which endeared him to fans worldwide, are evident throughout the memoir. Fred's approach to life draws on the sublime (his series winning performance in the 2005 Ashes) and the ridiculous (singing Elvis Presley's 'Suspicious Minds' in front of a live audience), from highs (making the transition to top TV presenter) to occasional lows (accidentally upsetting the lovely Bruce Forsyth), from the profane (discussing Shane Warne's barnet with Hollywood royalty) to the profound (why 'having a go' leads to self-respect).

If you are expecting a book about cricket, you will be disappointed, but it is a fascinating insight into the character of an individual to whom success and fame came at an early age, and who has now had the opportunity to reflect on his life. But, at 43 years of age, and with a bit more time on his hands than usual, Freddie Flintoff has had a moment to reflect and he's noticed that, although there's been little method in the madness, there has been the occasional common thread. Some of our larger items are dispatched using a courier service due to their size, weight and value. If you have read that book then this follows a similar theme, Freddie chats in his trademark way about his opinions on various topics such as Trump, Pandemics and Social Media. Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff is one of the most exciting cricketers in the world and has improved out of all recognition during the last two years. He often drifts off on a tangent and has often contradicted himself by the time he makes it back to his original point.

We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for further information. Spanning all stages of his life from childhood indiscretions to adult, well, indiscretions, the book bounces from the sublime (his series winning performance in the 2005 Ashes) to the ridiculous (singing Elvis Presley’s ‘Suspicious Minds’ in front of a live audience); from the highs (making the transition to top TV presenter) to occasional lows (accidently upsetting the lovely Bruce Forsyth); and from the profane (discussing Shane Warne’s barnet with Hollywood royalty) to the profound (why ‘having a go’ leads to self-respect). But Freddie Flintoff has had a moment to reflect and he's noticed that throughout his four decades, although there's been little method in the madness, there has been the occasional common thread.Join our community to get personalised book suggestions, extracts straight to your inbox, 10% off RRPs, and to change children’s lives.
