About this deal

I actually agree that the Fractal is a better case in terms of being able to accommodate larger graphics cards because it's shorter but deeper. The top panel features a mesh panel with magnetic tape on its periphery covering a dual fan mount that, like the front panel, supports two fans of 120mm or 140mm sizes. Also seen from this angle is a pull tag on the removable section of the front panel, and a side panel made of painted steel sheet.

I think it should as the case accepts a 365mm graphics card, which is quite impressive, so it probably will, but I wouldn't like to bet money on it. Pop XL Silent surprises us by including four fans, support for triple-fan front and dual-fan top radiators, noise damping, and a single tempered glass panel (which does a great job of reflecting noise). To put this case through its cooling paces we will be using a test system consisting of an Intel Core i9-12900K processor, RX 6800XT graphics and an SSD. Fractal Design’s Pop XL Silent isn’t nearly silent, but its noise levels undercut most non-quieted rivals. The reason Fractal Design decided to include its “Extended” radiator brackets is that the Pop Air RGB has only around 40mm of clearance between a 120mm/240mm radiator and a motherboard.Connecting front-panel cables is very simple on a case that has no reset button or hard drive activity LED. It’s no cut-rate PC case in other respects, either, having eight expansion slots on an inset slot panel and nearly 24 pounds of material to beef up the body. In addition to fan cables, the Pop Air RGB includes a SATA-style power input, and header cables for a motherboard power button, HD Audio, and first-gen USB 3.

The bays are located at the bottom of the front panel, behind a small door that’s secured in by two magnets. The next time we visit CES or Computex we fully intend to meet up with Fractal Design and interrogate them about sales of the various coloured options of the new Pop cases. All outputs are designed only to enable daisy-chaining of these devices, with the original connection leading to a motherboard header.

Another piece is attached to the inside of the right side panel on our case, and those who choose a steel panel for the left side of the case get another sheet there, as well. One thing I don't get is that the reviews for the Torrent compact almost all mention that the cable routing space is terrible and the reviews for the Pop cases say it is fine, even this one with the sound deadening material making it tighter.CLEAR TINTED TEMPERED GLASS SIDE PANEL -This Fractal Gaming PC case boasts an iconic design, which provides a bold, modern-inspired aesthetic. The Pop Air RGB is a great-looking case with its orange accents, but it hardly differentiates itself in our formal test charts. AIO Chassis as the base of the machine, we are able to provide the ultimate in experiences never before seen in an All In One form factor. As PC hardware becomes more power-hungry, the best PC case companies strive to balance sufficient airflow and attractive looks.
