Node 202 is the ultimate PC case for those looking for a beautifully designed, compact chassis that can house a capable gaming build. While the interior provides enough room for a mid/high-end GPU, the environment is only hospitable to more modest cards if low noise is anywhere in your design goals. The Pixel Accelerator may also be only 47 mm high, thus falling below the graphics card two narrow 120 mm fan can be mounted. However the GPU gets rather hot, I replaced the exhaust fan to intake position and I think I will get another one for intake too, instead of air circulation (1 intake, 1 exhaust).On the inside of both the top and bottom panels, the case uses the same ball joint clips to snap into place just like the side panels which is a very welcome feature if you only have two hands. It is silent, but to get it really silent I want to replace later that Alpenfohn fan (despite it's doing really well, I can barely hear him idling) with Noctua 25mm thick (means more air with less rpm, ergo less noise).

All air inlets are provided with dust filters, only the exhaust-slots on the narrow sides (above and below in the vertical position) are not filtered. While the two components are thermally separate for the most part, a graphics cards will still result in an appreciable increase of warm air in the case and around the other components.When you consider how few SFX PSUs there are on the market it probably makes sense to go for the combo package, if only to save yourself hassle.

I will later post more images of the build process and keep updated on how the temperatures have changed. I recommend this to everyone who is concerned about high CPU temperatures, though you can hear the airflow at high rpm. The enclosure is well constructed, and Fractal Design has done a great job by offering a clean chassis that will fit the living room, while also adding some edgy design elements to give those wanting to build an understated gaming rig what they want.
