This “shaker” type of application distributes it evenly, and after you have left it down for about 2 weeks, you can suck it up with a vacuum. This product is designed to be non-staining; however, always apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area to test for colorfastness. Most importantly, no matter how you empty your vacuum, be sure to wear a pair of gloves for protection. Stay out of the house for 2 to 4 hours after using a fogger and also stay off of your carpet for 2 to 4 hours to allow insecticide sprays to dry completely.
