If I’m using it as a single stroller, I can move the seat up higher on the frame from where you see it in this photo (below). We were originally planning to get the boogie board for one of the twins at the base for when the newborn doesn’t want to be in a carrier anymore but I was thinking a young 2 year old may not be ready to handle something like that so this is a great option.

I think next I’m going to get a side by side double stroller for long walks, since that will probably be better for walks than a tandem. However, when others have used our stroller, they struggle trying to figure out how to use the hand bake. When they're both facing you the lower seat does face the back of the other but they can still see you easily enough.As far as it feeling heavy goes, it depends how much stuff I’ve got in it in addition to Ellis and Theo.

They’re also at the back of the seat, which means if the seat is fully reclined it would be awkward to access. It can be heavy with the 3 year old in front and car seat facing parent, but overall I love this buggy and know it will last us years as a double or single. We could have fit it in our Volvo XC90, but it wouldn’t have left us with much space for anything else . It is one of those performances that seems good until you compare it to the competition and realize how amazing some strollers are.I am planning on traveling with my Chico car seat( adapter for the stroller), the regular stroller seat/frame of course. If you need a durable tandem double stroller that can be configured in a variety of ways, this is your best bet. Before I start this – since this is an old post- does anyone on here have the stroller they built to fit 3 seats and is interested in selling it?
