This is not a book for the faint of heart, but for anyone who might not yet have discovered Winslow, it's a great place to start. The story is about lucrative money making with a specially brewed drug herb that the trio or really Ben and Chon deal and solely profit from. When Ben and Chon’s gal pal Ophelia finds herself in the wrong hands, the guys are left with only one choice . My original take was much less comprehensive but remains true: Great characters, fast moving story and non stop action. I could tell you it's better than whatever you're reading right now, but still it wouldn't capture the scope, the boldness and the pure iconoclast bravado of the novel.

There was much more time and detail spent on Isabel, particularly her obsession with being organized and prepared.
