Description

The result is a good thing for OLED, because it has lagged behind LCD in the peak output metric for years.

The Dell Alienware AW3423DWF and the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9/G95NA S49AG95 are both fantastic ultrawide gaming monitors with a few differences.

I already have a 34" screen, which I like, but would ideally like a touch more vertical resolution, so I've ben assuming that my next upgrade would be to a 38" ultrawide.

Additional features include a USB hub, audio jack, and adjustable stand that can be tilted, swivelled, and height-adjusted to provide optimal viewing comfort. The Dell Alienware AW3423DWF and the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9/G95SC S49CG95 are both QD-OLED monitors with some differences. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 S32BG85 and the Dell Alienware AW3423DWF are both high-end gaming monitors that are different in a few areas.Digital Direct: Your digital content will be delivered directly to your device during set-up; no codes required.

It uses a QD-OLED panel that results in much better picture quality, particularly for dark room gaming, as it displays deeper blacks without any blooming. There aren't any distracting reflections from strong light sources, meaning glare won't be an issue if you want to use it in a bright room. But you don’t need a specific GPU to run one over the other (though AMD GPUs may provide better results with FreeSync; the same goes for Nvidia and G-Sync). All in all, not much has changed since we last reviewed Alienware's 34-inch QD-OLED, but that's by no means a bad thing. It's fantastic for consuming multimedia content in dark rooms, whether you're watching in HDR or SDR, because it has a near-infinite contrast ratio and perfect black uniformity. One of the advantages of using a QD-OLED panel is that it displays a wider range of colors at higher luminance levels than traditional OLEDs like the LG 48GQ900-B.

PCMag is obsessed with culture and tech, offering smart, spirited coverage of the products and innovations that shape our connected lives and the digital trends that keep us talking. Lastly, the LG doesn't have the same raised black level issue in bright rooms as the Dell, meaning blacks are still deep and inky when viewed in well-lit rooms.

To get to that 200w of peak draw would require the brightness to be maxed out and have the entire screen as white. Tom's Hardware is part of Future US Inc, an international media group and leading digital publisher. Fundamentally, the two provide the same function: providing maximum performance, minimal latency, and no tearing. Then I looked up at the gun barrel and marveled at how its shiny surface reflected the environment around me.
