The story is by Adventure Time storyboard artist Emily Partridge, written by Pranas Naujokaitis (Uncle Grandpa), and illustrated by the talented Natalie Andrewson. While Princess Bubblegum try's to find out what happened to Finn and Jake, it is revealed future Hunson Abadeer brought them to the future to help future Marceline with her memory problems. The story starts off interestingly enough with Finn and Jake's baddest enemy, their arch-nemesis The Lich King, and the book does not pull any punches.Jake successfully fools King Ghost of the ghost realm and must escape with the cure for Finn, but could this have been a ruse all along to teach Jake a lesson?

I've seen enough to surmise that it's a trippy show and having read this collected edition of the Adventure Time comicbook, I was right. With the Kingdoms Heroes under it's influence it leaves Marceline and Princess Bubblegum in a race again time as they try to find a way to not only save themselves, but everyone else in Ooo! Finn and Jake learn the truth about their mysterious old friend and her connection to the mystery goo. Danielle lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia in a 230-year-old house with her two cats, Smudge and Ellie (aka Fluffy and Sprinkles) and her 9-year-old goldfish Goldie. The first chapter is a great little "choose your own adventure (time)" too, which was a nice addition.With his pals Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline, Finn must remember how to beat this mean dude before he forgets everything else!
