A great product and looks solidly built but not all of the lips from the aluminium casting have been ground off leaving sharp edges, otherwise I would happily give 5 stars. The way that this is put together is perfect - from the built in former, how it is in two pieces makes, and also how the copper is held solid by the first piece before attaching the second piece, really well designed. You've got markings on the side for your angles and just in case it's a Saturday morning job, they've thought of everything. The fact that they bend on the same plane makes them way more accurate than anything I've been used to.Again, if you're working with one pipe at a time, predominantly doing 15 on a job, 22 on a job, I think it's a big time saver. You can get your pipe in there, that's sat in there, you don't need another hand then to get your former in so what you do is you put it in, there's plenty of markings around the outside and as you bend, go down a bit further and go a lot tighter.

Just for reference, it does come with these instructions and the angles that are marked are 30, 45, 60, and 90. Everything seems solid and made to last, my only concern would be the nylon former and if that gets knocked in the van and damaged.Also referred to as manual tube benders or conduit benders, they are a versatile tool for many tradesmen and professionals. Little bit more fiddly than a conventional bender to start with but most likely because that's what I was used to, nylon guide was nipped a bit tight to start with but Monument were very quick to put out a post to inform us how to rectify.
