You can probably cut the ribbon cable and solder the wires there, but my approach was to desolder the small daughter board from the speaker and add more cables from the board to the jack and the speaker.

Can't really get too excited at this product it is a power supply for the Blackstar FLY3, you plug it in and then you don't use the batteries in the amp.There are some amps that are very decent, but are a bit larger than I need, like Yamaha THR5, Roland Micro Cube and VOX Mini3 G2.
