Amber: I’ve been sucked into Bully Romance lately and I LOVED Khai Hara’s Royal Crown Academy series…book 1 was AMAZING! Until we don't think twice about sitting on a bus silently and passively while some guy stares at us from across the aisle, licking his lips and make obscene gestures with his hands. Evermore's suspense, eerie mystery, and strange magic were interestingly entertaining…I found Ever to be a character I could really respect…Recommended.

Everless was really the book that started my passionate love for reading YA, it was the first I just couldn’t put down and that’s a little why I’d been avoiding reading Evermore a little… I fell in love with the world of Sempera and knowing it was a duology I just didn’t have the strength.I really felt for her because of all she lost and what she struggled with daily… Evermore was a really fast, engaging read with some great characters. As Ever's powers are increasing, Damen's are fading—stricken by a mysterious illness that threatens his memory, his identity, his life. Damen is equal parts light and dark, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

It was because of this reason that I felt like this book was a bit more orginal compared to other Paranormal Romance books. I feel like Jules’ journey to self-discovery is a journey that all of us are currently on, and it makes us able to relate to her.

Candy Gourlay introduces Wild Song, her companion novel to Bone Talk, in which Luki and Samkad leave their home in the Philippines for America. I had terrible acne and I wore too much eyeliner because I thought I was emo, and I really liked wearing these frumpy ex-nursing shoes to school. I may give this author another try in a different series or stand alone novel later and see if she has improved the themes underlying her stories.

It really keeps your attention though out the story, because the puzzle gets pieced together bit by bit, but you don't know exactly what happened until the end. Jules Ember confronts the girl who is both her oldest friend and greatest enemy in the highly anticipated sequel to Everless, praised by New York Times bestelling author Stephanie Garber as "an intoxicating blend of blood, secrets, and haunting mythology. I felt as though the author had taken some of my favorite young adult books and blended them into one solid story.She tries to tune everyone out, shunning her old lifestyle as the pretty, popular cheerleader, but somehow she can’t hide from Damen, the new guy at school. She finds herself and her friends in strange and even dangerous situations, and Damen’s behavior is just plain confusing. My Facebook friends seem to love it, so I’m looking forward to more adventures (and hopefully, angst – I’m a sucker for it). What about the mere fact that supposedly, everywhere she goes she sees these dead people walking around like they're at the fucking carnival? I ask, noting how Damen’s entire demeanor has changed, suddenly growing chilly, cold, and distant – a dark cloud where the sun used to be.
