Dry-down unleashes the almondy/vanilla scent of tonka bean and cashmere wood which works really well with the fir’s freshness and spicy cardamom. Also has a slight boozy aroma to it. Joop! Homme Wildis an autumn/winter/spring fragrance that should be reserved for evening wear. This is just the type of scent to wear for an all-nighter when you want to hit the bars and clubs with no idea where the night will take you. I managed 7+ hours of longevity with good sillage and projection for most of that time. Performs even better in really cold weather. Could still smell this beauty on my clothes the next morning. When to wear Joop Homme Absolute? Not on a date, not for clubbing, not casually or the office. It is a fragrance rather for a winter or autumn gray day for a lonley, introspective, brooding person.

Performance of Joop! Jumpwas better than I expected from a ‘freshie’. This fragrance lasted 5+ hours before becoming a skin scent. Sillage and projection are moderate. It smells fantastic, but not a blind buy. The opening is impressive, with bittersweet orange, sour rhubarb and a touch of spice from Pimento peppers. A floral heart unveils powdery violet, earthy geranium and forest-fresh cypress. I have read in many comments that the scent would not change during the day, but that is not true. He does it only very quietly, almost subtly and yet, if you take your time, you notice the change. Do not be afraid to give this several blast on the sprayer, more than you normally would. You will reap the rewards at the end of the day, trust me.

Personally, I feel that the presentation does not really do this fragrance justice. The juice inside is far more mature and confident than the almost joke-like purple bottle with a smiling skull on the front. The bottle is tall and straight lines with slightly broader shoulders than the base. The pale blue glass emits a real summer vibe and is set off nicely by the silver cap. If like me, you are expecting Joop! Homme Ice Eau de Toilette to be ultra-fresh, think again. Encre Noir is more of an evening scent. CDG Avignon is for special occasions but this bueaty is for everyday wear (contary to what others have said above ((no disrespect intended)) but this is great for a date - it shows her you are you and not a sheep but a leader and if your getting married spray this on you won't go wrong. Once settled, it remains a nutty/woody scent with bitter zest and a powdery edge. Only "Heaven by Chopard" can arouse similar emotions in me apart from this fragrance. It hasn't been around for almost 20 years now. This is an almost beast-mode fragrance, so handle with care. Sillage and projection are enormous, and longevity is 5+ hours. After that, it hovers close to the skin. Although the sillage and projection are not enormous, this fragrance will undoubtedly get you noticed for all the right reasons.
