Superman Vs Lobo— A three-part miniseries that sees the Man of Steel pitted against The Main Man. Written by Tim Seeley and art by Sarah Beattie. The Nice House On The Lake— A horror comic by James Tynion IV, Alvaro Martinez Bueno, and Jordie Bellaire. Eleven friends go up to a nice house on the lake for a vacation... just in time for the apocalypse. The one who invited them, however, already knew this was going to happen. However, Selina doesn't trust him. And she has a mystery to discover. Ten years ago on that fateful night, Selina failed the Batman. She has questioned that night over and over again and she needs to find her answers. She needs to find a way to enter the batcave and find out what was Orpheus, Bruce's last request.

The Fellspyre Chronicles— An original heavily dark High Fantasy saga and set around the kingdom of Fellspyre in the fantastical realm of Cain Anuun. It also helps that Chiang’s artwork is just as fun as the story, and it’s even partnered with some stunning colors. He has some cool and cute character designs, and he does great with the thrill scenes, and his tone captures the drama and emotion of the story perfectly. It’s just great work from start to finish. Strange Adventures (2020)— Adam Strange's post-space war life turns sideways when an angry man gets killed. Catwoman: Selina's Big Score, DC Comics, ISBN 978-1-56389-922-5 (SC, August 2003), ISBN 978-1-56389-897-6 (HC, July 2002) Batman/Catwoman— An out-of-continuity sequel to Batman (Tom King), set in a world where James Tynion's run doesn't happen. Written by Tom King and drawn by Clay Mann. note with Liam Sharp filling for issues Mann couldn't reach his deadline by.

It is extremely rare for a contemporary superhero comic to be this eminently readable, but Chiang employs this high level of storytelling technique to go even further, making sure the story he’s telling actively does something. It whips.” — The Comics Journal Zalben, Alex (March 28, 2014). "When Is Batman's Birthday, Actually?". New York City: MTV News. Archived from the original on July 26, 2014 . Retrieved August 9, 2014.

In these four issues and to complete her heist, Selina asks a few old allies for help. I think by far the strongest part of this book was Killer Croc. Seeing his current state and the relationship he has with Selina was bittersweet and really well-written. Batman: Last Knight on Earth— Billed as "the last Batman story ever told", Batman wakes up in post-apocalyptic tale where the villains have won. Written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Greg Capullo.

Personally, I also have a thing against any Riddler/Catwoman relationship and what Chiang planned here was exactly what I detest. Batman recovers her heart, and Dr. Mid-Nite restores it to her body; however, the doctor also makes a prognosis on whether she can still return to her former life swinging through rooftops. While Selina is still in a coma, she encounters Zatanna, who apologizes for not warning her about Hush. She tells Selina that she was so happy about her relationship with Bruce that she ignored the other warnings in the cards. Zatanna gives her a little bottle supposedly containing aloe vera for her post-op scars. It is hinted that there is a little magic in there to help Selina with her recovery. Selina is sad that she might end up alone again. In the meantime, Bruce enters the recovery room and, believing her unconscious, launches into a soliloquy. He ends by telling Selina that he will always love her, when she opens her eyes and reveals to him that she was awake all the time and heard his confession. Cliff Chiang is a great artist but, like most great artists who try writing their own comics, he reveals himself to be a base amateur when it comes to putting together an even half-decent script. This is why some creators write comics and others draw them, and rarely do the twain come together in one person well. The Last God— The first book, taking place 30 years after a band of heroes had supposedly killed the last living god, Mol Uhltep, an eldritch creature who's kind once plagued and ravaged the lands. However, it would seem the legends lie as the supposedly dead Mol Uhltep makes a chilling return, bent on gruesome revenge. Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and drawn by Riccardo Federci and Sunny Gho with Dean White.

Batman: Dark Victory, the sequel to Batman: The Long Halloween, implies that Catwoman suspects she is the illegitimate daughter of Mafia boss Carmine Falcone, although she finds no definitive proof. Selina's connection to the Falcone crime family is further explored in the miniseries Catwoman: When in Rome. Though the story adds more circumstantial evidence to the theory of Selina's Falcone heritage, establishing that the Falcones' second-born daughter was put up for adoption in America, it also supplies no definitive proof. During Batman: The Long Halloween, Selina (out of costume) develops a relationship with Bruce Wayne, even leading her to save Bruce from Poison Ivy. However, this relationship appears to end on the Fourth of July when Bruce rejects her advances twice; once as Bruce and once as Batman. She leaves him for good and also leaves Gotham for a while in Batman: Dark Victory, after he stands her up on two holidays. When the two meet at an opera many years later, during the events of Batman: Hush, Bruce comments that the two no longer have a relationship as Bruce and Selina. The story and art alone is good enough that I'd love it for just that, but there's more to it. There's a true understanding of Selina Kyle, and nods to every era, from the Jim Balent purple costume to a heavy dose of the Brubaker/Cooke version, along with maybe the best interpretation of Killer Croc I've ever seen, a really wonderful use of Poison Ivy and Jason Blood/The Demon. In addition, the blossoming love story between a retired Riddler and Catwoman works so very well, and I love the story of his daughter Edie and Selina too. Valentine, Genevieve (February 26, 2015). [84] Bibliography List of Catwoman titlesIt was a nice wrap up to Batman era Gotham. I would give it a 5 star, but Cliff Chiang dived into some philosopical subjects that he doesn't understand and he was silly so i break 1 star. I don't want to talk about those philosopical subjects... ''Don't tell the truth to someone who doesn't deserve it'' Mark Twain. I listen to Mark Twain's advise and my lips are sealed. I experinced this stuation from the first hand anyway and faced the unpleasent consicuinces so i don't want to talk about the subject. Just you know that Mark Twain's words are very wise. Visionary creator Cliff Chiang ( Wonder Woman, Paper Girls) writes, draws, colors, and letters an unmissable artistic statement that will change the way you see Gotham’s heroes and villains forever!
