This is hardly to describe as a MOC because it's the building of the Original 40253 24-in-1 giftset from LEGO. However, I made this set to discover how many and wich pieces are needed to build all the models without breaking down the previous one. When I got this set I was really delighted because it looks like an expensive luxury gift set (254 pieces) with a beautiful instruction maual. So I was a little disappointed to notice that you couldn't build them all.

I got two last year. One is still MISB, the other we opened and our kids used the parts to build some of the minibuilds, after Christmas the parts went into the general collection and most of them are currently in use in several small Friends themed MOCs. The new set appears quite similar to that released in 2016 and features instructions for 24 models which cannot all be constructed at the same time. But we also got the 40223 Snowglobe (which was awesome by the way, both as a build and for parts) and 5004420 Toy Soldier ornament as holiday freebies last year in addition to the Christmas build-up.
