Treble head like me loves me some good high and it does not disappoint me and has some good energy/sounds lively. It has good amount of details and clarity but on certain instrument like guitars and horn instruments are not what I'm used to . The timbre or tone of these especially in the lower treble comes with shrillness and the instrument sounds bit sharp or thin especially guitar. Midrange – No shouty-ness or graininess. It has this “alive” attribute to it, with vocals being rendered in a full manner, no thinness or hollowness whatsoever. It is also very natural which lets the midrange, particularly the instruments, deliver emotion and weight with each note played. These have the bite that makes you wanna nod your head and thump your feet along with the music. No sibilance whatsoever, as well. As for the design of KS2 - its quite generic to current trend like KZ with good quality plastic resin finishing with decent cable slightly better than similar price KZ offerings. The size and fitting is good imho and also weight wise is light and comfort factor is good. My largest issue with the cable is its disposition to tangle, which would happen quite often when unraveling it. If you’re the type of person to secure their cables with hook-and-loop connectors, then I would suspect this wouldn’t be an issue for you, but the wound-round-the-finger types may get quite disgruntled.

The treble on the KS1 is not shy, it is clear and present, as you would expect from a V-shaped IEM set. The treble is not only present, it is detailed with good separation and clarity. The fact that these are dynamic divers mean that they represent the sound of instruments in a natural and realistic manner. Detailed, crisp and a little airy. If you’re using these IEM’s for video chatting, you’ll be surprised at how clear and in the room voices sound. Consequently, soundstage is much, much better than the Blon BL03. If you’re looking for positional cues from IEM in this price range this is a great choice.

I am not an expert in this hobby nor claim to be an audiophile. I just love listening to music and am fond of writing articles. Build: the build is high quality plastic housing that feels light and sturdy. The shape of the housing fit my ear perfectly and the size is also perfect for me ears as well. The cable a tight weaved 4 core cable which is light and excellent for the iem , negative is the earhook shape which is like a 270 degree curve.

Warm, slight-v-shaped sound signature. Smooth overall presentation without any hints or instances of fatigue. The KBEAR KS1 has a v-shaped signature that is slightly on the warmer side of neutral. Dynamic drivers generally tend to sound cohesive and that’s certainly the case here. KS1 has an organic tone with moderate clarity, a boosted bass and smooth highs. Bass I recently received a few pairs of IEMs for review. The KB EAR KS2 was the first one of the group that I tried. Imaging – does its job. You can easily locate where sound is coming from and panning isn’t blurry at all but it’s not the most “focused” I’ve heard. It's not long since KBEAR released their excellent KB04 hybrid which could be described as a "Diamond Lite". It delivered a good proportion of the Diamond's performance at a fraction of the cost. Now we have another 1DD + 1BA hybrid at an even lower price, the KS2.

Separation is good, with well-defined spatial positions, but the cramped soundstage prevents it on getting its full potential.

These are a fairly narrow IEM and have a low profile in your ears. I personally find the KS2 to be an extremely comfortable IEM. Furthermore, the earphones fit very securely in my ears and stay in place without me having to continually reposition them over time. The KS2 has an almost outrageous V-signature, but it's really fun and the mid-range is not neglected. The KS1 has a Dual Magnetic circuit dynamic driver. The KS1 comes with detachable cables. The cable in the box is the standard 1.2m braided 4N pure copper cable with a secure TFZ 0.78mm 2-pin connection to the ear pieces. At the other end of the cable is a standard 3.5mm gold plated plug. Of course, you have the option of a microphone on the cable, although I opted to get the uninterrupted cable (no microphone). The Ks2 uses a very familiar formula with resin shells in 3 parts. The face plate and inner shell are a green co-polymer with a brass nozzle. Faceplates are darker and a bit more opaque than the body with allows the internals to be viewed. The shell is the quasi triangle shape with the nozzles exiting the lowest point and the bi-pin connector exiting the top front. While the shell shape is very common, the KS2 is thinner than many in this style and fit is quite comfortable as it sits more in than on the ear. Nozzles have both a forward and upward rake with a pronounced lip for tip retention. A single vent over the center of the dynamic driver is visible on the under side of the shell. Fit and polish are good with seams tightly sealed and no glue, gaps, or slop. Earpieces are marked KS2 and L/R on the upper surface.ZSN Pro X bass feels a little faster, perhaps due to better resonance control from the aluminium faceplates. Both IEMs are similar in bass quantity but because the ZST X mids are more recessed the bass feels for extended. The KBEAR KS1 shell is made of plastic. I got the white version, which really looks like some Stormtrooper armour. It is very light and comfortable and well fitting. No complaints from me on this aspect. Soundstage: Soundstage height is larger than the typical budget IEM which is quite curious and definitely aids while watching movies and such. Soundstage width is moderate but stage depth is pretty poor. Lower mids are somewhat obstructed by mid-bass bleed and come across as increasingly recessed as you move up toward the true mids. Guitar tonality is fairly realistic although the slow decay is still evident. Vocals are not accentuated and sometimes fall behind the remaining instrumentation a bit but do have good tonality and texture. If volume is pushed a bit to compensate, it brings vocals up a bit but also increases stridency in the process. The boost in the upper-mids introduces sibilance if the source material has any leaning in that direction anyway. Strings have a bit too much energy as well and tonality comes across as a bit thin and hot on violin as a result. Ultimately the Ks2 is not a mid-centered in-ear and will do well with EDM or house that don’t focus on vocals heavily.
