Description

As a relatively high-value box of miniatures, there are some serious savings to be snapped up with the Aeldari Boarding Patrol box. If the Wraithlord can tank as well as I’m hoping then you’ve got a very well rounded box. The Verdict? This Boarding Patrol contains 17 models in total – one gunslinging Kelermorph inspires a team of 10 Acolyte Hybrids, who can also be built as Hybrid Metamorphs, while a hulking Abominant is joined by his little Mindwyrm Familiar friend, and five nearly-as-hulking Aberrants.

I don’t know if this would be a super effective army to be clear — but you’ve got some hammer units with the Terminators, Possessed, the Daemon Prince, and Abaddon. The Heldrake can cause problems. Plus you’ve got some boots for objective holding. It’s a start and needs to be refined for your playstyle but it can work. It seems bizarre that the Succubus was chosen over the far more recent Lelith Hesperax or Drazhar miniatures for inclusion in this set. Not only would Lelith or Draz have increased the overall value of the box and made the whole thing far more appealing, but they are the two most recent releases for a range that is otherwise in dire need of a facelift. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari – Value Additional rules for using five factions in Boarding Actions – T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas Can’t say I’m an expert on how Drukhari play – I still call them Dark Eldar to this day – but I will give as good an analysis that I can. This box does fall under the 500 point Boarding Actions list threshold by 130 points – and though the Wyches provide a lot of weapon options, you’ll never have enough to get there. I’d recommend another unit of Incubi to bring the pain in close combat, unless you want to overpower your foe with firepower, bring another unit of Wyches or Kabalites.Bring the light of the Emperor to the void with Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas, scouring the Arks of Omen with bolt, flame, and melta. A devout Canoness leads five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Sisters Repentia, and 10 Battle Sisters into the breach, making this a durable fighting force with plenty of power armour and some chainsword punch. Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Death Guard – Price Value & Savings Summary

Two squads of three highly customisable Tyranid Warriors provide an adaptable, formidable core to claim the Ark. Meanwhile, eight fast-moving Genestealers – fielded as a squad of five – act as an insidious vanguard to a towering Broodlord. The greatest strength of Combat Patrol: Aeldari is its flexibility. Assemble your infantry as Storm Guardians and give the Wraithlord a ghostglaive to punch right through fortified enemy lines, or muster a squad of Guardian Defenders with a mobile Heavy Weapons Platform to hold the ground claimed by your blistering bikers. With 26 miniatures – the vast majority of which are recent releases – the Aeldari Boarding Patrol will have caught the eye of many collectors. However, we’ll look at the value and see what price is more viable. New Eldar & Drukhari Boarding Patrol Boxes: What’s the Value? If you’ve seen our previous Boarding Patrol articles, you’ll see we’ve included points value and commentary on how to maximise what’s in the box for the tabletop – the side of the hobby that is sometimes forgotten over the sheen of ‘ooh, shiny model’. Not me though. Let’s see what the Sons of Mortarion can offer us.
