About the Author: Jamie Smart studied art at college for four years, but it was just an excuse to practise drawing animals with boggly-eyes. Full of beautiful punchy artwork that children love and featuring more hilarious japes from the fight between good and evil! Along with a colourful cast of characters such as Pig, Weenie the Squirrel and Skunk and my personal favourite – Le Fox – this graphic novel is chock full of silliness and I, for one, salute the silliness.

Dabei würden Hase und seine Freunde aus dem Wald doch nur so gerne ihre Ruhe haben - doch daraus wird nichts.Bunny, Weenie and Pig have been living happily ever (sort of) for a while, getting up to mischief and awakening bears. Bunny vs Monkey is another great book featuring many stories and some excellent characters that I won't forget in a hurry. Join best-selling comics sensation Jamie Smart for this hilarious collection of stories, available in a new chunky format! Please note: The stories in this book previously appeared in Bunny vs Monkey 1: Let the Mayhem Begin and Bunny vs Monkey 2: Journey to the Centre of the Eurg-th. I've been a fan of Jamie Smart's books for a number of years so when I heard of his kids book Bunny Vs Monkey I didn't hesitate to get it for my 7 year old daughter.

But all does not go well with the flight and Monkey's spaceship only just about clears the first hilltop before crash-landing in a peaceful forest. Bunny and his friends Weenie the Squirrel, Pig (the pig), Action Beaver and Skunky the Inventor lived a peaceful life in the forest. I think younger kids would have a blast with this, but the jokes and story weren’t anything beyond cute for me. He is determined to rule the woods and spends the rest of the book engaged with the forest creatures. Jamie's characters Space Raoul, My Own Genie, Count Von Poo and Fish-Head Steve have all found homes in the pages of The Sunday Times, The Dandy, Toxic comic and The DFC respectively.I love the drawings, the colours, and all the little details of the various scenarios our characters are in. This brand new remastered book collects together Bunny vs Monkey 1: Let the Mayhem Begin and Bunny vs Monkey 2: Journey to the Centre of the Eurg-th for the first time. His well-loved Bunny vs Monkey and Looshkin stories are regularly published in The Phoenix comic, and as bestselling graphic novels.

all does not go well with the flight, and Monkey's spaceship barely clears the first hilltop before crash-landing in a peaceful forest. Er aber meint, auf einem fremden Planeten zu sein und beginnt die Waldbewohner Hase und dessen Freunde zu schikanieren - er möchte sie gerne zu seinen Sklaven machen. The humour is beyond daft, the characters are irritatingly stupid and the plot is pretty non existent.Even though this is titled Bunny vs Monkey, sometimes Bunny isn’t always actively fighting against Monkey.

All that changes when winter comes and some scientists launch Monkey over the hill, both them and him believing he's going to a distant planet. I particularly love Jamie Smart's style of art work, and he makes every one of his characters look cute and cuddly.

Monkey still decides he is going to be a pain the bum and make life interesting and semi-miserable for Bunny and friends. She needs to learn everything there is to know about life, so it's probably not the best idea that she's surrounded by Bunny, Monkey, Weenie, Pig and the gang.
