We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises when you receive a guitar from us so we do our own photography in-house.

The sound from the cedar is also considerably calmer than that produced by the spruce top. The spruce top on the other hand, has a clearer sound. A sound that can be likened to the sharpness made by a bell. With the spruce top, rather than a full sound, it is distinct and each note is individual and clear. However, these two guitars come with the same top, the Canadian cedar top. So, why did Cordoba choose the cedar top for these two guitars? Of course, we’ve got a solid cedar top, which is also lovely. When it comes to classical guitars (even if you’re a beginner), a solid top isn’t something you should pass up on. Solid wood’s response will help you feel the music – as corny as that may sound! But even though a few customers complained about the affordability, hearing the sound assuaged their doubt. They just knew they had to have it. And they’ve been happy campers ever since.

The Cordoba C7 has two cedar top guitar variations – the Cordoba C7 CD/IN Acoustic Nylon String Guitar and the Cordoba C7-CE CD/IN Acoustic Nylon String Guitar. One of them, the C7-CE, is an acoustic-electric guitar. I might have to double my budget or look into the Córdoba you mention but I think that would likely disappoint too, so yeah not sure where to go now! The C3m also comes with as much learning guide and accessories as the Cordoba C5, making it great for beginners. Most of the time, when you have two guitars going head to head, you usually have the big difference being the top of the guitar: that is, spruce vs cedar. The Cordoba C5 comes with two kinds of carrying case. You can get the gig bag or the hard case. Of course, the hard case is a little more expensive than the gig bag version.

The founder and owner Tim Miklaucic had a strong desire to rescue the classical guitar. The result of this desire is the steadfast fusion of craftsmanship and beauty to produce a guitar that is both lightweight and responsive. As a plus, they still manage to hold on to the integrity of their Spanish origins.

So, from what we’ve seen from the above description, rosewood is a fantastic bridge point between mahogany and maple. The Cordoba C3M is also an entry-level guitar. It’s probably slightly more entry-level than the Cordoba C5. All Cordoba C7 guitars come with a gig bag. And surprisingly, unlike the C5, there’s no C7 guitar with a hard case.Well, the Canadian cedar top is actually a very popular choice for Cordoba, more than the European Spruce top. While the European spruce top is the more traditional of the two, the cedar top began gaining increasing popularity since the mid-1960s. Playability is also important. And if you’re buying for a new player, the nylon strings may be advantageous even if the player doesn’t intend to specialize in classical music. A nylon-string guitar will be easier on players’ fingers, making the playing experience more comfortable. The scale length of 25.6″ is also fairly standard for acoustic guitars. Well, Cordoba decided to go for Indian rosewood for these two guitars as they are entry-level guitars. Indian rosewood works as well as its South American brother. The only difference is that the Brazilian rosewood is a lot more exotic, therefore, a lot more expensive. Now, another thing about this European spruce is that it is quite scarce. So, many times, manufacturers have to make do with another high-quality tonewood. Fortunately, you get to have European spruce itself with the Cordoba C7 SP/IN.

It’s good for two reasons. One, comparing the Cordoba C7 vs C5, the C5 guitars are affordable, they are a low-risk investment. If you find that the classical guitar is not your thing, you can always just drop it without losing too much. Cordoba C7 Both guitars come with well-made guitar bags which make it more convenient to carry your guitar around. Plus, it’s a great way to store your guitar and prevent it from damage. I got this guitar because of a trade for a modestly good Fender guitar. It was given to me, but I figure hey let's trade. This model is a full sized body with fan bracing. Now, the Cordoba C7 is in a class of its own, even though it’s an entry-level guitar. In our opinion, the Cordoba C7 is one of the best entry-level guitars you can get in the market. And guess what? Nearly every other person who matters also agrees with us!

Tech Specs

For one, the C5 comes with a lot of extras like a polish cloth, clip-on tuner, and an instructional DVD. Now, while that is sweet and all, it is largely characteristic of average quality entry-level guitars. You’d hardly ever find a high-end guitar with that many accessories. Choosing a better angle before setting out to play is one good way of altering the sound of your classical guitar. As for accessories, the Cordoba C5 Acoustic comes with a tuner, an instructional DVD, and a polishing cloth.
