Podany, Cole (17 April 2023). "All Phasmophobia Tarot Cards, Meanings, and Effects". GINX TV . Retrieved 23 August 2023. In The House of the Dead, each of its bosses in the mainline series are named after the Major Arcana Tarot Cards (excluding The Devil). The second boss of its third installment (Type-0028) is named after The Fool card, battling the players in its cage by slashing them with its claws or by dropping the remains of bodies onto the player. The Tower: Symbolizes sudden upheaval, chaos, and revelation. It represents a transformative crisis, a “breaking down” to make way for the new. Death: Represents endings, change, and transformation. It does not typically denote physical death but rather an end to a situation or phase.

An instructional booklet is included, explaining the tarot card meanings and how to use the cards for divination, with an introduction by Tarot expert Stuart R. Kaplan. In the middle of the early years of the twentieth century, despite her natural talent trained in the artistic environment, she still endured social derision due to her pursuit of a single life, working and roaming everywhere while almost all young women of her same age were married and chose to live as a housewife. According to A.E. Waite's 1910 book Pictorial Key to the Tarot, [23] the Fool card is associated with: The Sun: Represents success, radiance, and abundance. It signifies happiness, joy, and fulfillment. The 18th-century Piedmontese game of Sedici and its variants treated the Fool as the lowest trump. [11] Unlike most games, the Fool is worth only one point. This is similar to the role of the Miseria trump in Sicilian tarocchi. The Two of Swords. Smith conceptualized the 56 cards of the Minor Arcana entirely on her own. Courtesy Yale University Library Additionally, the original drawings made by Pamela Colman Smith, from which the cards were printed, are primarily held by the private collector and tarot scholar, Stuart R. Kaplan. He acquired these original drawings in 1971 and has since then included them in his extensive collection of tarot cards and related items.

Waite and Smith shared the Rosicrucian understanding of correspondences, an idea she used to paint pictures that came to mind, whenever she heard music (an ability known as synaesthesia). This, together with her theatrical involvements and travels to Jamaica, may all have contributed to the liveliness and broad range of imagery on the Rider Waite cards. Smith’s colour palette has its own system of correspondences; some of the Rider Waite ‘clones’, such as the Universal Waite, feature alternative colour schemes. Step 6 – Pay attention to the color scheme of each card. What mood does that color convey? What is the main color? What do they add to the meaning of the card?

The Magician: Represents manifestation, resourcefulness, and power. It suggests the potential to turn ideas into reality. In Phasmophobia, The Fool is one of the 10 cards that can be pulled when using the Tarot Cards. When first pulling the card, it appears as a different card, before shortly turning into The Fool and doing nothing. During a Hunt, all cards turn into The Fool, effectively wasting any possible positive effects that could be gained from other cards drawn. [24] Juliette Wood, Folklore 109 (1998):15-24, "The Celtic Tarot and the Secret Tradition: A Study in Modern Legend Making" (1998)

The World: Represents completion, accomplishment, and travel. It signifies the end of a cycle or journey, heralding the beginning of a new one. Ray, Sharmistha (23 March 2019). "Reviving a Forgotten Artist of the Occult". Hyperallergic . Retrieved 14 March 2021. The Emperor: Symbolizes authority, structure, and stability. It represents leadership and the power of rational thought. Step 9 – Since you read each Tarot card one by one, your eye may be drawn to a single image or symbol. That image may remind you of a word, phrase, or expression. It can create an image or a visual landscape in your mind. It can make you feel hot, cold, or elicit emotional reflexes. In fact, a Tarot card can activate one of your senses: seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and even tasting. Now, let’s put your reaction into words simply. Don’t worry if it is wrong or right, just express all your impressions of the card. The Chariot: Represents willpower, determination, and strength. It suggests triumph over adversity through discipline and control. The Hierophant: Represents tradition, conformity, and morality. It suggests adherence to established social structures and belief systems. Tarot itself is a fairly simple game. The instructions, with each card in its place having a specific purpose, are simple and easy. Over time, the cards can begin to really convey meaning, asking us to look more deeply into our motives, while pushing ourselves in the right direction. The Empress: Represents fertility, nature, and abundance. It suggests a nurturing spirit and the creation of life. a b Michelsen, Teresa (2005).
