Britain By Jove collects together all 4 episodes of the famous comedy travelogue produced by British Pathe in the 1960s to promote holidays in Great Britain. That said, the 12 labours of Hercules is more a simple, brief retelling of the events rather than an examination of derivatives like many other chapters in the book, which is a shame, in my opinion, because it means that it appeals to a different audience. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously.

Lord Charles casts his beady eye over and passes his inimitable comments on places such as :- Cambridge, Newmarket, Norfolk Broads, Burnham Thorpe, Chatsworth House, North Yorkshire Moors, Robin Hood’s Bay, Newcastle, Inverness, Edinburgh, the Highlands (Lochs, Whiskey Distillery, Birdwatching, Angling and Golfing), Antrim and Londonderry in Northern Ireland, The Giant’s Causeway, The English Lakes, Tenby and Portmeirion in Wales, Stratford-on-Avon, Bath, Land’s End, Torquay, Boscastle, Mousehole, Plymouth Hoe, Lulworth Cove, London and The Thames (Hampton Court, St. Over the years we’ve performed retellings and re-imaginings of Euripides’ Bacchae and Medea and Aeschylus’ Oresteia , as well as new poetry inspired by characters from Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey . This approach will make mythology interesting for those who have already read too many standard mythology books and may make remembering the myths easier as it ties them to words the reader may already know. Director David Bullen used the capabilities of the streaming platform Streamyard to move the Medeas around the screen, with blank screens appearing for the voices of Jason and other characters that are not embodied; the Medeas seemed to be circling, trapped in an inescapable situation and closing in on acts of terrible violence. Re-interpreting 'The Art of Coarse Acting' with a farcical result, it's time to guess WhoDunWhat and how.

Two characters in action in a composition as emblematic as it is dynamic, completed by a bubble using Mortimer’s favorite expression: "By Jove! As a group of theatre makers coming together creatively, our work is always collaborative, always an experiment, always evolving. The book attempts to be a bag of mixed nuts -- you're supposed to keep nibbling -- but it ends up feeling dull, with a sameness to each of the retellings that kills the sense of wonder. In classical times, the name was written as Iovis or Iuppiter ( Iuppiter was a compound of the archaic Latin Iovis and pater).
