Description

Arccos Single Smart Sensors are compatible with all Arccos products, including 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd Generation Arccos Smart Sensors, Arccos Smart Grips and Smart Sets (Cobra and PING). There is one other HUGE benefit to Arccos Link that I haven’t mentioned yet: the ability to use Arccos anda bluetooth speaker. If you have that, then you hardly have anything to worry about with your stats and everything is super seamless. Once charged you do need to ensure the device is turned off before storing it away in its pouch otherwise it will stay on standby and you’ll be left with not enough power when you need it. I was actually surprised just how seamlessly it integrated into the current system. Does Arccos Link Work Well?

I did pull out my phone every few holes to keep an eye on it, and during my first round I also had one caveat. Arccos Link will work with all our 2 nd and 3 rd generation, full set, non-Bluetooth products, including Arccos 360, Arccos Smart Sensors, Arccos Smart Grips, Cobra Connect and PING Smart Sets. It will not work with our 1 st generation Bluetooth product or Arccos Driver. If you have a Bluetooth putter sensor you may be eligible for a free putter sensor upgrade, please see the next FAQ for more information. But alas, with the introduction of Arccos Link, this is no longer the case. But does it live up to expectations after being so hotly anticipated? Pairing it was as easy as it gets. I literally opened up the app that already had my clubs paired, hit “Pair Arccos Link” and within 15 seconds we were good to go. Arccos Link is a small device that you clip onto your belt that recognizes all of the shots you hit using the Arccos Caddie system, without having to have your cell phone on you.

Conclusion

I forgot to charge my device as soon as I got it, so I plugged it into the USB port in my car on the way out to the course – so it only had about 20 minutes to charge, which Iwasn’t sure would be enough to get me through the round.

After that they rebranded to Arccos Caddie and gave the app a hugeoverhaul by introducing an AI powered Caddie (that actually works). That said for something that seems so simple there was a ton of money and time poured into making the Link a reality. The technical details to make this happen are far beyond what you expect – so with over two years of development, I can’t say I’m surprised by the price.when measuring in radians, an angle of θ radians will correspond to an arc whose length is rθ, where r is the radius of the circle. Thus in the unit circle, "the arc whose cosine is x" is the same as "the angle whose cosine is x", because the length of the arc of the circle in radii is the same as the measurement of the angle in radians. [11] In computer programming languages, the inverse trigonometric functions are often called by the abbreviated forms asin, acos, atan. [12] On the flip side, their Apple Watch app works like a charm – at least for me. It rarely misses a shot, even if the watch is covered by my coat. And, since I already had the Apple Watch, there i no additional cost. (I wish I knew that before buying the Link.)

Don’t get me wrong, using just the grips or sensors on their own are still fantastic, but the Apple Watch and Link truly take it to the next level. Yes! Arccos Caddie can be accessed at any time during a round on your smartphone meaning that you can still rely on Arccos Caddie recommendations and access Arccos Caddie Rangefinder and other in-play functionality, even if you are using Arccos Link to record your shot data. We have used the Caddie Link for over 20 rounds now and it has had almost 100 per cent shot detection success, only missing a couple of finesse greenside wedge shots - a definite improvement on the previous method.I know it’s nuanced and every golfer will have their own value assigned to those things, but wondering where you’re standing these days on it. Single Smart Grips can be used to replace Smart Sensors for a more seamless user experience, as additional grips for clubs you’ve recently added to your bag, or to replace worn out existing Smart Grips. Each Smart Grip comes with an Arccos sensor embedded in the grip. See below for specific grip details. As others have pointed out, the belt clip is prone to breaking. However, their customer support has always been responsive and sent no-cost replacements.
