Dima Zales is the love of her life and a huge inspiration in all aspects of her writing. Every book Anna writes is a product of their unique collaborative process. Anna accomplishes this, not merely competently, but with profound insight, eloquence, and surprising creativity. She makes the reader question herself: "What is wrong with me?" "How can I be aroused by this girl's predicament?" Yet I couldn't help falling in love with Julian and Nora just as surely as they developed their intense loyalty to each other. But why her? Why would somebody like him (gorgeous, rich and seemingly in control) need to kidnap her? And who is he, exactly? ‘Cause he appears to be someone very important.

Exactly! And let me say, I do love this story immensely. Every time I read it. Which has been three times over already and I'll probably still read it again. Why? Because it actually gets better each time. Anna's writing is so subtle that when I re-read, I notice the little nuances of Julian's transformation over the three novels, slowly coming to realize that he is hopelessly in love with Nora even as he steadfastly proclaims himself to be a monster incapable of that emotion. Anna makes us FEEL Julian's vulnerability beneath his harsh demeanour. It reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, with twenty-first century tech, and guns, and lots of hot, steamy sex.Recently my really good friend ( Hi Bee )has been encouraging me to read it and I finally gave in lol.

I adored the progression of the story, how with every chapter and book we see Nora and Julian's relationship have a new depth and element. Both characters were so well written and the development was top notch. The writing was amazing, the storyline enthralling and the book was just an all round incredible read. I also dream about him. Sexy dreams, sensual dreams, where he holds my hand, touches my face, kisses me. Our bodies touch, rub against each other. Our clothes come off. The main character of the dark romance novel is none other than Nora Leston. Nora Leston is an eighteen-year-old. Nora Leston is also a virgin, which is an important part of the story later on. At the present moment, Nora is just sitting around at a bar and enjoying herself, her youth, and her freedom. Little did she know what would follow. Julian Esguerra Also,I have to mention Julian. I actually liked his character but at times I felt like she went way overboard with him.Her enigmatic captor is as cruel as he is beautiful, yet it’s his tenderness that devastates her most. Drawn into his violent world, Nora must find a way to adapt and survive—and find light within the darkness.

This novel is also a wise, deep, moving epic by an exceptional writer. The author brings her game A and gives us a mind-blowing story. These characters are unique and refreshing. There are fabulous stand-alone set pieces, engaging characters, glorious prose and a soul-stirring look into the various lives of human. This is an immensely readable novel. The author way of developing the characters is impressive and his characters are well drawn and compelling. This book is amongst the most adored and famous works that Anna Zaires has come out with, thus far. It is a potent tale that you can be sure won’t leave any reader with a steady heartbeat. It is the first novel in a series of the same name, which, in and of itself, is composed of three novels in total. Twist Me book was published in the year of 2014. But with the teaser, the author does allude to the fact that Julian is well aware of what he has done to this malleable girl, she believes she loves him. I was torn between 2 or 4 stars, but it's a romance book, so I don't think the really dark potential of the story will be realised.

I would have, straight out, not liked this book because Julian did really ugly things to Nora and she was just wide open accepting and enjoying everything (with one or two half-hearted rebellion attempts). I was never convinced that he had any feelings for her as an individual person, it was all about him and his dead friend. He successfully moulded her into his pet and that was what he called. She looked like someone he had loved and he made her into his sexual plaything, moulded her entire identity, sexual and otherwise.
