Each blush is a mixture of one of the Ambient Lighting Powders along with a color pigment. These have a velvety smooth finish and gives a slight glow to the skin, but not as “glowy” or “luminous” of a sheen as the Clinique Cheek Pop though. These blushes lasted a bit longer than the Clinique Cheek Pop blushes, showing signs of fading only after the 8th hour mark, which is very remarkable! Though it seems a little powdery in the pan (excess builds up in the corners), it doesn’t look powdery or cakey on the skin. In fact, the powder almost melts against the skin, because it looks natural and smooth; very much that “seamless, soft-focus” look Hourglass was after. This particular shade has a soft sheen that gives skin a glowing, healthy finish but doesn’t emphasize pores or imperfections. It had good color payoff that was both buildable and blendable. Mood Exposure wore as well as the other shades–eight full hours before there were signs of fading along the edges. The quality seems comparable across the board from the five (of six) I’ve tried and tested now.

The Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush is a stunning champagne rose shade mixed with Luminous Light for a natural and healthy flush to the cheeks. Visually Hourglass Mood Exposure is beautiful to behold. It’s a dusky shade of plum that comes across more as a bronze-y peach on my cheeks. I think perhaps it’ll appear different on a variety of skin tones. It almost gives my cheeks a sculpted, contoured look. It’s very pretty and natural. I love using this with my NARS Yachiyo brush (obviously this is my favorite blush brush hehe) and very light-handedly swirl the colors in circular motions along the cheekbones. It gives a very diffused look.These two are also very similar although they swatch differently on my arm. Diffused Heat is just a tinge more vibrant.that is, or may reasonably be considered to be submitted in extreme volumes and as such be deemed as ‘spam’; answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but Available in eight shades, create any luminous look desired with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush. Apply with the No. 2 Foundation/Blush Brush after swirling it across the entire compact to collect the desired blend of powder and pigments. Key Benefits I think my disappointment stems from the fact that I’m not getting the glow I thought these would perhaps produce. On one side the naturalness of the color is stunning and the formula simply beautiful to work with but on the other I really wish they had more of a glow to them versus the semi-matte finish they seem to produce. These powders are very powdery when you swirl your brush on the pan, however they do not apply or look powdery on the skin at all. They’re so easy to smooth out!
