The set will arrive in true UCS fashion, featuring a build that is entirely focused on display. There’s no interior to speak of, with a design that will remind builders of the UCS Star Destroyer. Except with nearly 600 more pieces, there’s going to be some more detail. Most of that is going to enter in the form of the red color scheme that the grey ship has, with some mosaic-style Republic insignias giving the Venator its iconic look. As 75053 The Ghost was released towards the start of Star Wars: Rebels, it doesn’t include a wealth of references to the series’ four-year run. The Ghost (75357)

Another Return of the Jedi diorama said to be on the way in 2023, this set will reportedly capture the frenetic speeder bike chase through the forests of Endor – and there are plenty of ways the LEGO Group could really make this a Star Wars set to remember. A third diorama is apparently also in the works, depicting Jabba’s Palace, but we’re still waiting on a specific set number for that one. Given its proximity to the engines, this would have been an ideal place for some internal mechanical detail. I blame Filoni for that. Moichendizing, moichendizing, moichendizing!! We needed a sleeker Phantom III (the Search for More Money). We already know the mech sets from LEGO Marvel, now they are rumored to also get introduced in LEGO Star Wars this summer. As we already know, these will probably contain the mech and the corresponding Minifigure of the respective character.

Given the almost legend-status of the original LEGO Ghost and Phantom, I think this set will sell incredibly well, especially if the Ahsoka series is well-received. So many of the Youtubers are really just sad, lil, ignorant nerds. Love Jang, though. Yet, even he barely cares anymore.

Yavin IV Rebel Base (75365)

A more specific prediction regarding the upcoming series is that LEGO will release a set of the Chimaera, which is Grand Admiral Thrawn's personal Star Destroyer. The new minifigures look great in their own right, but I really just can’t get over how detailed the Ghost is. I love the greebles on the side of the shop, as well as the detailed engine and just how solid the overall angles of the vehicle deliver on its unique design. Lately when the LEGO Group has been remaking sets that have already come out, the new versions have been a bit of a down grade. I really can’t say the same thing here, as the new version of the Ghost is far better than the set that came before it. Another set that will be released on September 1 will be of the fan-favorite Wookiee, Chewbacca. Similar to the full-body sets of Yoda and R2-D2, Chewbacca will just be a 2,320-piece buildable character rather than an actual diorama-style set of a vehicle or a scene from a film.

I see the improvement in the new version. I love the expansive interior. I guess we'll have to make our own beds!! Ha! And, hide a holocron. This 1,394-piece of Ghost & Phantom II has a release date of 1 September 2023, just after the premiere of the new Ahsoka TV series on Disney+ on 23 August 2023.
