Discover "The Sassenach Bundle" – a perfect blend of Sassenach Whisky and Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin. Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich has an exceptional single malt from the 'ghost' distillery of Pittyvaich at its heart. Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich was released in 2021 as part of the continuing Ghost and Rare series celebrating the rare and lost distilleries that contribute to the Johnnie Walker brand's globe-bestriding success. This Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich Johnnie Walker Blue has Pittyvaich single malt at the heart of its malt content, supplemented by other single malts from Cragganmore, Royal Lochnagar, Strathmill, Mannochmore and Auchroisk, blended with long-aged single grain whiskies from Carsebridge and Port Dundas. Alongside the distinctive autumnal character from Pittyvaich whiskies, the sweet and fruit notes of fresh apple beautifully balanced with the delicate subtle sweetness of honeycomb and soft wood from the “ghost” whiskies of Port Dundas and Carsebridge.

Inspired by the Highlands and the TV show "Outlander," the whisky boasts notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and oak spice.Glenury Royal gives this whisky notes of sumptuous orchard fruits, sweet apple and delicate apricot. Two additional lost distilleries are also included in the blend – grain whisky from Cambus and single malt from Pittyvaich – alongside five ‘rare’ expressions from the existing distilleries of Cameronbridge, Clynelish, Glenkinchie, Glenlossie and Royal Lochnagar. Nestled in the wild and remote Ury district of the Highlands, the distillery was founded in 1825 by Captain Robert Barclay, a friend to Royalty and the first recorded man to walk one thousand miles in one thousand hours. This beverage has a distinctive flavour, which is often described as rich, dark, and almost creamy — a great whisky for connoisseurs. Johnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal is a special edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label released in 2019 to celebrate one of the unsung lost distilleries that have played an important role in the huge success of Johnnie Walker Blue.

The palate brings rich fruity notes of green apple characteristic of Glenury Royal, as well as creamy buttersoctch toffee and heather honey, before a long and satisfying finish. While blended Scotch is smooth and buttery, single malt Scotch is oaky, with more of a woody flavour. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. Blue label is an aged whisky with a beautiful, complex flavour, and red label has sweeter flavours of butterscotch and vanilla.

This expression showcases the exquisitely creamy, vanilla rich smoothness that was so synonymous with the whisky produced by this closed distillery. Presenting Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami - a new limited edition collaboration between culinary virtuoso Chef Kei Kobayashi and whisky expert Emma Walker. Other very rare whiskies bring aromas of dark fruit and berries before revealing gentle butterscotch, stewing orchard fruits and a dash of cinnamon. Included within is grain whisky from Glasgow's Port Dundas distillery (which closed back in 2010), matured in second-fill and heavily charred first-fill American oak casks. Included in the blend are single malts from the short-lived Pittyvaich distillery, which closed its doors in 1993.Johnnie Walker whiskies offer a unique Scotch whisky flavour, created with processes honed over many years and generations. Jim Beveridge used malts from Pittyvaich, Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie, and Glenkinchie, as well as grains from Cambus and Cameronbridge to build out the expression. Known amongst blended whisky lovers as one of the top premium Scotch blends, Johnnie Walker is a brand which needs little introduction.
