This Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich Johnnie Walker Blue has Pittyvaich single malt at the heart of its malt content, supplemented by other single malts from Cragganmore, Royal Lochnagar, Strathmill, Mannochmore and Auchroisk, blended with long-aged single grain whiskies from Carsebridge and Port Dundas. Alongside the distinctive autumnal character from Pittyvaich whiskies, the sweet and fruit notes of fresh apple beautifully balanced with the delicate subtle sweetness of honeycomb and soft wood from the “ghost” whiskies of Port Dundas and Carsebridge.

Inspired by the Highlands and the TV show "Outlander," the whisky boasts notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and oak spice.Glenury Royal gives this whisky notes of sumptuous orchard fruits, sweet apple and delicate apricot. Two additional lost distilleries are also included in the blend – grain whisky from Cambus and single malt from Pittyvaich – alongside five ‘rare’ expressions from the existing distilleries of Cameronbridge, Clynelish, Glenkinchie, Glenlossie and Royal Lochnagar. Nestled in the wild and remote Ury district of the Highlands, the distillery was founded in 1825 by Captain Robert Barclay, a friend to Royalty and the first recorded man to walk one thousand miles in one thousand hours.
