Production Design Featurette– David Wasco, Production Designer, and Sandy Reynolds-Wasco, Set Decorator give us their insight on the design of the film. right, but when looking at the grading directly compared to the old Blu-ray, the improvements are substantial.

Overall? Excellent transfer. You could say it's amazing with warts and all. As I said, I love its personality. Most reviewers I think will review this from a source perspective which is imperfect. It's rough around the edges. I'm reviewing it from the transfer perspective, and it's great. It's a job well done by Paramount. The HDR grading is excellently done, it makes a huge difference to have perfectly color-graded content. This is something the VHS, the LaserDisc, DVD, and Blu-ray simply cannot produce. That’s good news. I thought Miramax would end up under the Disney umbrella - killing off most hope of a physical release. Paramount ships Pulp Fiction to the UHD format with only the legacy extras in tow. The UHD carries over three of the eleven from theWhile this is not a UHD that is going to blow everyone away with a "wow" factor, it is a very stable and healthy image and one that offers a HD Report is a trusted online news publication with experts in entertainment technology, physical & online media, video gaming, and consumer products. If you already have the bluray and are not a fan (per se) then I can image you will be perfectly fine without this new release. Don't misunderstand me: the 4k isn't bad at all, the bluray is just already very good. However only the 4k has the special features mentioned above. Pulp Fiction (1994) by Quentin Tarantino is finally here on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray! It's released by Paramount, who aren't exactly on my best list right now. So, how does it look? Any good? Big upgrade? Let's take a look. format. Grain is present and very light: unobtrusive but flattering and filmic. The picture is also free of obvious encode flaws and print problems.

Plot: What’s it about? Video: How does it look? Audio: How does it sound? Supplements: What are the extras? The Bottom Line Plot: What’s it about? The film is presented as a 3840x2160/24p BT.2020 image in the original theatrical aspect ratio of widescreen 2.39:1, using a Wide Colour Gamut (WCG), High Dynamic Range (HDR10 and Dolby Vision), and is encoded using the HEVC (H.265) codec. pulp fiction reservoir dogs the big lebowski no country for old men fargo 1920x1200 Animals Dogs HD ArtCharlie Rose Show(55.5 minutes): It’s a shame Rose proved himself to be another man who couldn’t behave himself around women, because he always conducted great, in-depth interviews. Here’s one of those with Tarantino. Hey guys, usually when a movie is converted to 4k in itunes, it automatically upgrades if you have it in your library. Dialog volume I found to be slightly inconsistent. It reminds me of the way Christopher Nolan does sound. He lets dialog breathe in the scene, and that means that dialog can be captured at different volumes. I felt this really only affected the start of the movie, however. It's like "sound over distance" is being simulated here, which makes the audio more believable.

Pulp Fiction: The Facts – Documentary– This is more of a biopic on Tarantino, but it also tells of the origins of the film and how he came to be. Very interesting, though I felt a bit manufactured. The transfer is gorgeous. The movie has never looked this good ever on home video. I remember watching this on Laserdisc, I can still remember how it looks to this day. This 4K transfer is absolutely excellent! At no point does the film grain break up into digital noise. That's my biggest thing. Sure, we have analog artifacts from the camera, but please...I don't want the image to look digital. Thankfully, it doesn't. It looks like film. It looks analog, and that's a thing of beauty. When movies are bought to 4K Blu-ray, this is what I want. Minimal digital work done and allow this great format to capture that. We have that here with this transfer. MOVIE THOUGHTS: Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece? I think so. What a great movie. I love it and a great addition to my 4K collection. The steelbook included a 4k bluray and 2k bluray. The 4k bluray has Dolby vision and 5.1 audio, it also has special features. The 2k bluray had 5.1 audio but only includes the movie with no special features. From what I gather this is an older bluray release as the menu is different and the old Miramax logo comes up. Writer-director Quentin Tarantino delivers an unforgettable cast of characters— including a pair of low-rent hit men (John Travolta and Samuel L.
