After about 3-4 hours the projection was about arms length and there was still an easily noticeable scent trail. I don't consider myself a collector, but my shelf has grown since then and no matter how many niche or designer summer fragrances I love and wear, this one never gets boring or lets me down. I haven't worn mine in a while (that's going to change this summer) but I routinely got 7-8 hours with about 8 sprays. Throughout the wear, the bergamot remains the star player, with the fragrant citrus element of petitgrain overtaking the green element, soft mandarin zest, lemongrass, that fluffy softness, a warm kiss of amber, and just a whisper of herbal greenness all following behind, until it ultimately settles to a skin scent and fades. The opening is sharp and the dry down is smooth, and a little woody while maintaining some of it's freshness from the fruits.

But I will spray this nice freshie coming summer and maybe layer it with it’s a bit more interesting brother frag Artisan.

When you first spray it on (after the alcohol has faded) you are hit with an uplifting, fresh, lively, clementine / tangerine scent which mellows pleasingly over the next couple of hours. They do that if they’re incredibly extroverted, inebriated, or the scent is just too good to not know what it is. All-in-all, the fact that I cannot think of a single perfume that this reminds me of, in a sea of citrus perfumes of varying lineage, actually makes Artisan Pure rather unique in that regard, with its interesting bergamot-mandarin-petitgrain top, and soft, fluffy heart.

Lasts 4-6 hours with 1 hour to 1 and a half hours of moderate projection, with okay sillage for the first hour. Will probably not purchase the full bottle unless very cheap, in which case I could use it as a room freshener. Sometimes known as aromatic water, eau de toilettes, such as this one, have a lower percentage of volatile oils than parfums do, routinely between 5-15%.

Something like a mix of Eau Fraiche and ADG Profumo - if you have either of those you could give this a miss and get an Ideal cologne instead to add variety. Bright citrusses (the mandarine is awesome) with some aromatic touches resting on a woodsy musky slightly soapy base. This is definitely not unique (although not extremely generic at the same time), and it doesn't last at all.The sample I got really smacks you in the face with Lemon and Floral notes and I agree with a lot of reviewers it gives you a hotel lobby type scent. Repair the sprayer, center the collar and make a better cap - otherwise it's a very nice citrus scent. This is in the style of many Acqua di parma offerings, tom ford's neroli portofino, xerjoff nio etc. It is so uplifting and so calming, I can't help but reach for it in the morning when the weather is beautiful outside and I'm just feeling content with life (Zoloft helps).
