The funny thing is I didn't really like it when I first smelled it, as someone just re-discovering fragrances I'm learning theres more than first Impressions. This fragrance is a carefully crafted modern masterpiece and I think that Olivier Polge put a lot of strategic time and effort into getting a perfect blend as the ratio of woody notes, citrus, sweet accords and freshness is perfect and it seems like the fragrance is designed to be a very safe luxury smelling fragrance that is more unique than the original and fits the desires of typical consumers perfectly whilst also pleasing the frag heads. The smell is really fresh and the bottle is sexy- Best part about wearing Chanel is you don’t really need to worry about seeing it on the discount rack.

Dont get me wrong its not bad and definitely not the worst and I can even say i liked it at first, but later on as i put this fragrance on the powder smell was way too overwhelming for me. Spraying the EDT on my left hand the Parfum on my right, immediately the top note feels very different.It's highly addictive and sometimes I find myself spraying this just to experience that moment again and again.

I dont know what some people were expecting from a designer fragrance like this, but for me this is more than enough. To me this is a staple that you should have in your collection if you have an interest for fragrances. It's like my favorite girl because whenever I wear another fragrance I usually think about how much if rather be wearing BDC P lol. But, of course, you can tell straight away from the packaging that Bleu de Chanel is sophisticated and elegant without smelling it. However it kinda works to its advantage, it’s warmer and richer than the other bdc frags, so the moderate sillage fits the cozy intimate vibe it’s going for.A sophisticated blend of woody ambers, based around what smells like Amberxtreme aka Cashmeran velvet (this is just speculation) hedione, iso e, and possibly cedramber which create a potent masculine ambery woodiness in the base which is balanced out by the powdery ionones to create this kind of stable fresh woody amber feeling.

Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne is so much better, not only scent wise,where it s much more bright,natural and complex but also performance,Elysium radiates off my skin.
