Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition user manual (English - 101 pages) Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition user manual (English - 101 pages)

The Sirocco Edition was a continuation of Nokia's high-end luxury 8800 mobile phone. This edition launched in 2006, a year after the original model, and with a similar price tag. The phone's technology remained essentially the same — 2G connectivity, a 208 x 208-pixel screen, and the Series 40 "dumb" operating system, rather than Nokia's Series 60 platform, which allowed users to install a variety of apps. It's okay for phone calls and a solid build but that's it. Battery life is rubbish, regardless to having 2 batteries with you or even the extended ones, it will not last you all day if you actually use the phone. Sending a text is incredibly fiddly due to the very small, non tactile buttons been crammed together between the metal walls of the sliding mechanism. Even when navigating the menus you may probably accidentally press the end button or number 2 more than you wishes. I wasn't expecting much for the price but just solid build quality and that's what I got. Box was already open on arrival The curved OLED screen with the sleek stainless-steel frame. OEM case seems to suggest that the Nokia 8 Scirocco was supposed to be the first Nokia 9. Context keys are accessible when the phone is closed, but unfortunately their usage is rather limited The Nokia 8 Sirocco ships with Android Oreo and can be updated to Android 10. Message for further info The Nokia 8800 (pronounced eighty-eight-hundred) is a luxury mobile phone produced by Nokia, based on the Nokia Series 40 operating system. The 8800 features a stainless-steel housing with a scratch-resistant screen and has a weight of 134 grams. [1] [2] According to Nokia, the 8800's "sophisticated slide mechanism uses premium ball bearings crafted by the makers of bearings used in high performance cars". [5] Picture is very fine and sharp, with enough contrast. The pity, however, is that the font color can only be modified within the standby mode, but does not refer to the entire menu. In result, dark wallpapers remain virtually useless for work with the menu as these make some legends illegible. The display is protected by a hardened sapphire glass resistant to scratches.

"Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte for stylish Nokia fans". Luxurylaunches. it is my second such phone. Despite a small functionality, on mine, it is a style and reliability standard. I Like it Very much! I would recommend this product to a friend. Supppppppeeeeeeeer!!!!!!!!! The Nokia 8800 was first introduced on 7 April 2005 [6] and was commercially available in the United Kingdom in October 2005 on the O2 mobile phone network. The Nokia 8801 was introduced in North America and uses the frequencies predominant in North America of 850MHz and 1900MHz. In most respects the Nokia 8801 is identical to the Nokia 8800 other than the use of 850/1800/1900MHz rather than 900/1800/1900MHz on the Nokia 8800. Nokia 8800 Sirocco review: Accessories, display, keypad

Follow the standard installation process by selecting Next and accepting the terms in the license agreement. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is carved out of a single piece of stainless steel, machined for hours into a solid, yet uniquely slim and compact shape. Elegantly tailored to fit even those not-so-elegantly tailored trousers. When closed, the phone offers very few options: accept calls, receive SMS, or silence ringtones. Nothing else. Aside from the context keys, the only usable element left is the main on/off button: single presses help you browse profiles, while a longer press confirms your selection. As with previous editions, it continues the trend of having ringtones composed by popular electronic artists, with the ringtones being composed by Austrian downtempo duo Kruder & Dorfmeister.
