About this deal

It was Titan Magazines' third Batman comic alongside Batman Legends and DC Universe Presents Batman Superman and was the first to be aimed at a younger audience. All in the Mind – Batman teams up with Martian Manhunter to prevent an invasion from Mars by the White Martians. Set in an alternate Gotham, this short looks and reads like a Batman Beyond story, but this simple attack/rescue vignette is a tried-and-true Batman scenario at its core.

During production, the show's creator said that if a character's cold open appearance was deemed successful, then it may warrant exploring the character further in a future episode's main adventure. In 2023, DC began its Dawn of DC relaunch, with a slew of new titles that drew the attention of many fans back to the publisher after a slump. About his side-kicks, I particularly like Deadman and Wildcat because of their relative proximity to the universe of Batman in the comic book.

When I heard that Tom King was doing a take on the first Batman/Joker encounter I immediately lost interest in reading this. That, plus Ivan Plascencia’s colors keep the action bright an vibrant, making sure that the page never feels dull. a monthly schedule, and little in the way of team-ups, the series is the complete opposite of what fans of the classic book had hoped for. This was released for Free Comic Book Day of 2011 and contained an exclusive story "Let Me Tell You About Bruce Wayne". What should have been a series devoted to character team-ups has been turned into an expensive anthology series of solo adventures.Refunds will be issued within 5 business days back to the account you paid with Paypal, Credit Cards, Bank Account etc. James Arnold Taylor – Green Arrow, Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), [9] Blue Bowman, Major Disaster, Wotan, Nabu, Mark Desmond, Arges, Leslie "Rocky" Davis, Alpha-Red, G. Attack of the Colossal Bat-Monster – Hugo Strange has turned Batman into a giant monster that rampages through Gotham City.

Given everything fans associate with Batman: The Brave and the Bold, everyone expected more team-ups and a refreshing change of pace. High-profile comics duo Mitch Gerads and Tom King supply the first time Joker and Batman fought, Christopher Cantwell and Javier Rodriguez deliver a Superman story for the ages, and Dan Mora delivers his first story drawing and writing. Clark Kent struggles to report on the everyday adventures of Superman, but an old package with a mysterious message asking for help may just be the story Clark has been waiting for. When Batman lists off the names of Joker’s victims and says he’ll repeat them every night, you believe him.The 2002 animated Justice League episode “The Brave and the Bold” would pay tribute to this team-up, developing a new working relationship between Wally West and John Stewart.

Not that people like that don't exist, but at some point it takes me out of the story when I know how these types would say it, and it's not that way. When it was first announced, I thought that everything lining up in that way might indicate that this would be the title’s farewell. An interesting point is made that every cop is on the case, which shows how little kids in the clutches of Joker can’t be helped unless a caped crusader may be around. For a series that used to offer the freedom to come and go as fans pleased, the new Brave and the Bold does the opposite and requires multiple comics to tell a full story.
