Description

Edifier Connect สำหรับ EDIFIER WH950NB ยังมีเมนูหลักอีกสองส่วนที่ผมคิดว่าน่าหยิบยกมาพูดถึงในรีวิวนี้นั่นคือในส่วนของโหมดเสียงหรือ ‘Sound mode’ (เข้าหน้าแรกของแอปฯ แล้วปัดซ้ายกลางจอสองครั้ง) ซึ่งเป็นค่าพรีเซ็ตที่มีให้เลือกสามรูปแบบด้วยกัน คือ Music mode, Game mode และ Theatre mode เมนูส่วนที่มีผลกับคุณภาพเสียงโดยตรง ( คลิกดูภาพใหญ่รายละเอียดสูง) Removing the outer sleeve, you’re presented with the inner box which again, is nice and sturdy. Opening up that box you’ll find a beautiful textile carry case which I hadn’t expected. Most carry cases I’ve seen by Edifier have been faux leather, so it’s different, in a good way. As with most premium headphones, the Edifier WH950NB come with ANC (Active Noise Cancelation), and ambient mode. Starting off with the ANC, these headphones have three modes. If you don’t need aggressive noise cancelation, there’s the low noise cancelation mode. It will filter out a fair amount of the noise in the environment. It’s meant for more quiet places.

Overall my first impressions are good, I’m looking forward to getting them connected and finding out how they sound. For the sound quality part of the review, I’m going to be listening to an album by an American artist called Caskey. Single Use Plastic For this review, the “Music” and “Classic” settings were used with the noise cancellation switched off.“Classic” was more neutral in presentation whereas “Dynamic” mode changed the sound to a more “V” shaped profile.

Accurate, Balanced Sound

In terms of comfort, the WH950NB’s are fairly lightweight and really comfortable. I could definitley wear these for a full shift at my day job. I can tell I’m wearing them, but they aren’t a nuisance and they don’t feel like they are too heavy or weighing my head down.

The WH950NB is a very good product and should certainly be on your shortlist if you are shopping for fully-featured wireless headphones. Specifications: That’s if you’re listening to the music right out of the box. Digging into the Edifier Connect app, you’re presented with some powerful tools to customize your sound. Let’s start off with the power EQ. When you open the built-in equalizer, you’ll see the four bands that you can adjust. Each band has a volume range between -9dB and +3dB. Swipe to the left to get to the EQ section. Here, there are just two presets: Classic (the default) and Dynamic. That’s fine with us because there's also an option to sculpt a custom curve. Uniquely, this EQ lets you adjust specific frequency bands, though the upper limit of four bands means you can only tweak the sound signature, not rewrite it. Swipe again to the left to reach a screen with the aforementioned Music, Game, and Theatre modes. Eva Cassidy’s beautiful cover of Sting’s “Fields of Gold” received a wonderful rendition from the WH950NB. Her voice was clearly positioned in the centre stage with guitars left and right. Subtle details such as breath and lip sounds brought the performance to life while the ambience of the studio recording was realised faithfully. The dynamic shading in her vocals was handled very well. TrebleOut of the box, however, it’ll automatically switch to high noise cancelation. This mode will filter out a wider range of noise in your environment, and these headphones do a great job at it. When I activate the mode, I feel that feeling of isolation. The headphones destroy noise from the AC or refrigerator at home. They still do a great job when working in a noisy coffee shop. A lot of the chatter and machines are filtered out to make listening to music better. The next mode is wind mode. For this mode will help filter out the noise you get from the wind. This review is part of TechHive’s in-depth coverage of the best noise-cancelling headphones. Is the Edifier WH950NB a well-built headphone? Majority Everest review: A fantastic sound system that brings a cinematic experience into your home

I really like the zipped shell case and it feels good quality, but I’ll save my comments on that for the build quality section of the review. These are super-soft to wear but also boast excellent audio quality and customisation (Image credit: Future / Edifier) The tonality in the Age of Enlightenment Orchestra’s performance of Rossini’s “String Sonata No. 1 was very natural with the harmonics of the lead violin clearly audible endowing the instrument with a believable timbre. The clarity of the reproduction allowed the interplay of the violin and the counterpoint to be appreciated with the balance between the sections of the ensemble nicely judged. Soundstage and Imaging

There's no doubt that, right off the bat, these impressed me. The soundstage is convincingly wide yet well-contained. Unlike some that over-reach themselves in pursuit of bigger sound, these headphones know their limits - and they're better for it. They also claim a 40kHz top-end that I was eager to hear. Customized มากกว่า เพราะให้เสียงคล้ายโหมด Classic แต่ฟังสบายหูกว่า ตัวอย่างเพลงหลากหลายแนวใน YouTube ที่ผมเลือกไว้ใน playlist ตามนี้ https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtaK2a8bJpBYJQrSyvWjIEiq9UKTJAZU2The headphones were left to burn in for a period of 72 hours and the sound impressions were obtained using an Xduoo X20 DAP via the wired input. I did find that they were easy to drive, only needing to dial the volume up to 33% to obtain the best result but via Bluetooth I had to turn up the volume on my smartphone to maximum. This isn’t meant to sound like a complaint, it’s more of a compliment if anything. But, it’s getting really rather boring writing about the quality of Edifier’s tech. It’s all pretty much always spot on. If you want to listen at LDAC quality, you need to turn off the dual device connection mode in the app's settings menu (when this is on, you can maintain a connection with up to two devices simultaneously). Then, go to the LDAC menu and turn it on (it's off by default). Further enabling one of the higher sampling rate options will likely force your headphones to reboot, but this takes only a moment.
