Halo: Spartan Assault is a spinoff game set between Halo 3 and 4. It’s one of two top-down shooters on this list alongside its sequel, Halo: Spartan Strike. Spartan Assault stars Spartan-IV soldiers Edward Davis and Sarah Palmer in a post-war skirmish against a Covenant faction led by Sangheili warlord Merg Vol. There's not much added to the overall narrative, though Palmer also appears in Halo 4, 5, and Infinite. A Halo: Reach special edition Xbox 360 S was released on September 14, 2010. It features a Xbox 360 S Edition, a copy of the game, two controllers, and a wireless headset, all of which are based on the game. Colored silver gray, the console is based on an in-game archive reader unit and associated controller used by the Office of Naval Intelligence. The console actually appears in the game in Halsey's lab. [6] The controller and headset were also released individually. The disc eject button emits a Spartan energy shield recharging sound, and the power button emits the spawning sound of a Halo 3/Reach multiplayer powerup.

It's A.I is pretty impressive even with current standards. Some of the weapons are fun like the battle sword. Not to forget the dual wield feature was integrated with the mouse controls perfectly(carry two different one handed weapons). The overall production quality is good & multiplayer is promising. In addition to the Arbiter, Halo 2 introduces the Covenant Hierarchs (the Prophets of Truth, Mercy, and Regret) and Miranda Keyes, a commander in the UNSC Navy and the child of the aforementioned Jacob Keyes and the not-yet-introduced Dr. Catherine Halsey.
