Description

Two of the more cost effective models within the Oral-B range of electric toothbrushes, these two are among the most popular models available on the market today and either serve the vast majority of users very well. You are likely going to get the best value from the Pro 1 680/Pro 1 750 variants, because they include a travel case. But, prices do vary, so this logic may not always apply. It is this paired with the consistent power from the motor and the scientifically engineered brush heads that ensure a clean that surpasses that of a manual brush.

There are of course many similarities between these two brushes and both have some design and features I have not touched upon yet, but I believe are worth noting. The image below is a comparison chart that shows the main models available from Oral-B today, along with the features and functions each offer. In the sections below we compare Oral-B brushes that are close to each other in price and features. Model by model comparison Pro 600 vs Pro 2 2000 Both brushes come with thestandard ‘Daily Clean’ mode. They both then have a Sensitive mode. It is only the Pro 3 3000 that has the ‘Whitening’ mode. Putting this to shame is the 9000’s travel case which is heavier, bulkier but much more premium to look at and touch. It also has the ability to charge the brush in the case, by connecting the provided charging cable. If this is not enough, a USB cable can be connected to the case and charge a device like a smartphone.

If you need more detail on any of the brushes, read on or leave a comment. Brush vs brush comparison posts I am confident that the Genius X motor is more powerful. I think the Pro 5000 you might have has something in the region of 8,800 oscillations and either 20,000 or 40,000 pulsations. However, what is great about an electric toothbrush over a manual brush is the increased consistency in cleaning motion that it can offer and this is why you will often see toothbrush manufacturers claiming up to 100% more plaque removal. Both models offer most of the benefits of an electric toothbrush without having to pay ‘too’ much for them.

Yes you can connect it to the Oral-B app via sound recognition. This is not as reliable as bluetooth connection however it does work (kind of). How long is the warranty for this product? If you are always on the move with overnight stays or travelling from place to place the hard plastic case provides a home for the brush and the brush heads (up to 2) and stops either coming to harm. I shall now list each model and what is included so that you can select the most appropriate for you. There are fewer gloss plastics and large expanses of rubber grips, with a much more exclusive looking design. The Oral-B iO has been redesigned from the ground up. From the motor to the handle, to the brush head, it has all changed.
