Row 5:ch1, dc in BL of each st up to and including marked st, *htr in next st, htr in FL of next st, htr in BL of next st; rep from * to marked st, dc in BL of each st to end, turn. Row 8: Ch 2, *FPDC, sk next SC, DC in next SC.* Repeat from * across to second from last stitch. DC in last stitch (Total 213 stitches). Turn. Below you will find the notes and directions for making this easy sleeved scarf crochet pattern. Size Assembled:

Row 2:RS: ch1 (does not count as st throughout), dc in BL of each st up to and including marked st, htr in BL of each st up to next marker, dc in BL of each st to end, turn. This scarf is long. It is wide. It is plush, and cozy, and warm. THIS SCARF HAS SLEEVES!! It is also my new favorite piece of clothing. ♥ I decided to name it the “Give Me a Hygge” scarf because of the way you pronounce the yarn: Hoo-gah. Give me a HOO-GAH! Tip: if you want your cuffs tighter, use a smaller hook size. If you want them looser, use a bigger hook size. AssemblySomething else I wanted to change this go-round was the sizing! This piece is written in three hybrid sizes instead of the original and is broken down by SIZE A - 28-38” BUST (which is an XS-M hybrid size), SIZE B - 40-50” bust (which is a L-2X hybrid size) and SIZE C - 52-62” bust (which is a 3-5X hybrid size). This sweater scarf is made with simple, meditative stitches. The sleeves are made with post stitches, creating a beautiful ribbed texture. We’ll start working on the scarf and add sleeves lastly. Pattern is available in size S-XL and 2Xl-5XL and includes a step by step video tutorial. Measurements can easily be adjusted if you need a longer or wider sweater scarf.

Row 1:WS: dc in second ch from hook and in each of the next 49, place a marker in the last st worked, htr in each ch to last 50, dc in next ch and place a marker in this st, dc in each ch to end, turn [50sts for each sleeve, 237 (270, 306) sts for body] One of the things that helped me the most when I was making this is “if there’s a DC, FPDC in it – if there’s a FPDC, then DC in it”. Keep that in mind when making this scarf, or just using the Alpine Stitch in any other pattern. Row 2:RS: ch1 (does not count as st throughout), sc in BL of each st up to and including marked st, hdc in BL of each st up to next marker, sc in BL of each st to end, turn.Row 1: Sc in same st and across those 10 overlapped sts. Sc around entire opening. Join to top of first sc with sl st. (32) Chain 215. (Optional: mark Ch 39 and Ch 174, just to keep you from working too far when assembling the sleeves) If there’s one thing I love in the fall its chunky scarves. I love big, warm scarves because I love to feel all wrapped up and cozy. This new crochet pattern for a Scarf with Sleeves using Red Heart’s Hygge yarn is simply perfection. Attach yarn in the corner of the sleeve opening (where the underarm will be) and sc in each row end allll the way to the other end, then up the other side. Join to first sc and weave in all ends. Row 17: Ch-1, turn, (sc, dc) in first * sc in next, dc in next * repeat across, (sc, dc) in last. (46)
