Therefore, there is no need to continue to apply cream to the skin until it remains detectable on the surface. These are usually mild and soon pass. If any continues or becomes troublesome, speak with your doctor or pharmacist for advice If you need to wash a treated area within the 8 to 12 hour period, for example your hands, then you should reapply the cream to that area after each time you wash.
