Did not stand up to windy conditions on recent trip-two more split poles and although rest of tent good quality and design, can't recommend due to this. The knots in the cord were not big enough and pulled through a couple of times leaving a loose pole section.

I have used few time this tent for family ( 2 Adults and 3 kids)camping holiday, it is good size tent and well designed. Erection with the highly tensioned poles needs to be practiced, but OK in the end, and a very solid tent as a result, especially when its unique tension straps system is used.This means it is relatively easy to carry, and does not take up a lot of precious boot space in the back of your car. Tent had a small tear on outer tent where you use a peg I have tried telling Black's this could be resolved with a patch I am going back on holiday next week and they couldn't guarantee me having same tent by then.

It stood up like a dream to brisk winds by the Solent and within 2 weeks we were in a damp wooded valley by the Tamar and it kept out 12 hours of torrential rain. Being able to stand up is a big bonus over my “umbrella style” quick pitch tent, which is ideal for overnight stops.It's just the right size for me and my daughter because we can have our own rooms and the living area is perfect for our kit and a couple of chairs.
